Murchie could be a cash out option/2RF gap filler, starting this week, 302K...

got 41 in 67 last week replacing Katoa, week before seems he for 20 in 60 mins vs cowboys, but subbed on for JTB? did he get moved mid game? only 16 tackles in 60 minutes, must not have been playing in the middle right?

I was going to trade Twal to L. Mitchell but I'm now thinking I should go the ctr cows luke Talau, Averillo, Niu. That means I can get a good quality forward for my bench in round 8. Thoughts & thanks.

I was considering Hoppa over Mitchell but Talau allows me to bring in a gun forward.

Oh up to 3 weeks maximum is a bit different, 3 does seem awhile considering he came back on and played.

If we knew he was out this week and next only would you still hold? I guess Carrigan is at least back next week to fill in

Warriors coach Todd Payten also said in reference to Katoa "Given his age and importance we won't be rushing him back"

Well that changes things significantly. We now have a guy that could be out for three weeks, new coach, and possibly Tevaga coming back pushing someone to his edge, so could be benched when he does return and it's not like he has a negative break even or anything. His cash will be put towards Teddy I think.

    INJURY LIST

    Eliesa Katoa | Ankle | Round 8-9

Utility forward Jazz Tevaga is the next player in line to make a comeback from injury. It's hoped he'll be available against either the Broncos next week of Gold Coast the week after.

Fuck. Now do I go Katoa + Turbo > Ponga + Niu and bank the 145K for upgrades down the track and hope Luai lays on enough to make a bit more cash, at least selling at 400K+ is a 150K profit.

Serious question - cash out WFB (with potential for DPP):
    Herbie or Coates or Niu
thoughts on JS, more than scoring potential.
Need WFB cover in case Teddy goes down.

Can't even sell him this week as I have higher priority sells in Twal & Turbo (more cash in them = better players to trade in) Sad

Personally I think Farnworth has the best job security (right now) of the three.

Niu will stay at fb though if his form is solid.

That brings him back either against - Dogs, Tigers or Storm. Kind of hope he is eased off the bench the first game so I can grab as a 18th man around 700K

Bethany_B wrote:Katoa out for 3 weeks is making me rethink selling Papy this week.

According to MTB's site, Papy's BE is 42, and SURELY he'll get at least close to that this week against the Warriors? Even a 30 only sees him lose 10k.

I might just hold Papy and sell Katoa, then sell Papy next week (because don't get me wrong, he is definitely a sell and has really disappointed all of us)

Yeah Pap has bottomed out this week imo. Storm coming off a loss and facing a demoralised Warriors, I think it's gonna be a carve up and will be very surprised if Pap goes below 42.

He's putting up solid enough numbers that a couple of good scores can boost his average into keeper territory. Hasn't been any worse than RTS and people are looking at him hoping for a purple patch, which he's capable of, but no reason Pap can't do the same when playing for a much better team.

I think Twal is going to be back from injury by the time Tigers release an injury update on him

Thanks legends. Will probably give both a round to make sure they get the role I want but depending on cows might be tempted to jump the gun. Hard not to see both slotting straight back into starting roles given their importance and teams?

I would still sell Turbo and Katoa, and get Ponga, but now you can choose your cheapie of choice. You might prefer to go Talau and get Nui next week if he goes well.

You really think your team is gonna be that stacked to have Fifita at 18? Impressive

Cheers MTB, I liked the look of Coates against the Knights (seemed most likely), but I think his inflated score with the run metres and try hide the fact his position may be shaky.
If Herbie is playing centre, surely he'll be safe until Staggs returns? Basketball
