Cody Walker back, good tackler, got the build for 4+ tackle breaks a game, draw of Titans, Warriors, Panthers, Bulldogs, Tigers. Bound to jag a few tries.
i mentioned Graham ages back, small sample like Best but mostly base and not bulked by tries. Few think if there’s a re shuffle he will be back on wing

Yes I have been looking at his stats on the basis of removing his tries, TAs, his TS in first game, and say half of his TBs (I think he is good for a couple TBs a week) and after that his scores still look pretty good.

Obviously not expecting 60+ from him every week. He may end up averaging very similar to Latrell but I think he has more upside to break out for a few big games, as he has already, and with with the added bonus that he has a negative BE and will make cash

In a 2 game sample is the point for Best. It’s like saying Glasby is better than JTurbo because in a 2 game span he out base pointed him

I could've done 4 game sample for Latrell but just used his best game. The amount of times in the past I've owned Latrell and he'd be on 20pts after 5 mins and then score another 10 in 70 mins mostly from goal kicks.

Yeah bringing Fui in would be more about cash generation as I have only 2k bank. If I bring in Best I can upgrade Lomax when his price rises dry up. Alternatively I could forgo Best and bring in HTF and Clark/Fogarty to leave me over 200k for upgrades. Here is my team, let me know what you think:

    Haas Carrigan
    Yeo Katoa Leilua
    Moses Cleary
    Capewell Lomax
    Papy Turbo Drinkwater

I’ve argued for and against Latrell, point is he’s been a gun at CTR (Historical 40+ avg) previously so you know he can do it, Best is pure speculation after 2 monster games which you can’t get the points for now

Ponga Yeo the Mann wrote:The base stats for best are swaying me. He’s getting 20 tackles and 150m a week. Means when attacking stats dry up he may be in the Lomax mould with a decent base. I think I’m sold. Worst case he makes 100k and costs me a trade

Here is the list of centres that made 150 metres a week last year:

my tv broke wrote:Thinking out loud, I think I've come to the conclusion that I will sell Mann, regardless of team news.

My only other obvious trade outs are Levi (has to go), and Wiliame (worthless)

(due to centres dropping like flies) i have to buy a CTR or WFB this week. Levi + cash doesn't afford me Teddy or Ponga.. but it could get me Tommy T, and hold on to a trade.

I'm thinking of burning the 2nd trade though to go a little cheaper (eg Latrell or similar price ctr), but also bring in Jake T (or similar). Levi + Mann out = Latrell + Jake T in

The way I see it Paix can hold down Mann's spot for a few more weeks and looks like scoring to the same ability anyway, but Jake T is a big upgrade (assuming 55 average or potential to go higher with new rules).

    Any thoughts?

Its basically a case of playing Mann + Paix (looped with Luai/etc), or Paix + Jake Turbo

Levi and Mann to Jake and Latrell

    Massive frankly mate. Great moves

This is what is really winding me up this year. Small samples being taken for the normal. Can he potentially do it, Yes! Is it unlikely, probably

To me the key stat to watch for Mitchell is how involved he is with the number of runs per game, as he builds his fitness and combinations with team mates.
    Mitchell at CTR 2019 - Average 8 runs/game
    Mitchell first 2 games 2020 - Average 5 runs/game
    Mitchell rounds 3 and 4 - Average 10 runs/game
    Teddy round 3 - 21 runs
    Turbo rounds 3 and 4 - 16 runs/game
    Ponga round 4 - 17 runs

If we start seeing Mitchell hitting 15+ runs / game like the top fullbacks are, look out!

Do u look at a particular couple of players ownership% and sometimes think is that the only % of teams that are now physically active ?? Because said couple of players would surely have to be owned by almost everyone if they were active and half serious.

I just can't help but feel that Best is too expensive now. I'd personally go Latrell.

So where do these extra 5-7 runs a game come from? Latrell is a lazy cunt, he will have games where he is fully invested and make 15 runs, he most certainly will have games making 5
