Is there any risk to Frizell staying on an edge for 80 minutes? Which side did he play on, I can't remember? With their troops back and decent draw will the Dragons be less shite, or too much to ask with those outside backs?

Last season Sims got 80 minutes, now that he is back I expect that to be the case again, reverting to last season's minutes for Frizell. Round 1, Ravalawa went off after 7 minutes, which gave Friz more minutes that would normally have gone to Fuimaono.

But he played half of last year at lock which would be unlikely with Lawrie, Merrin, Luke around. Who spells him? And I can feel a Milchy "starting edge back rowers play big minutes" post coming on.

    Alright, i caved and had a quick look at my team and possible trades pre TLT.  Might do;

    Watkins - Fogarty/Mago
    Williams - Drinkwater
    Fifita - Tolo

Gives me (with 30K left if I go with Mago)

    Koro
    Haas Carrigan
    Tolo Lucy Hess
    Moses Mann
    Shiba Lomax
    Pappy Drinkwater Nofo

    Knight Luai Brailey Grant

    Willy Katoa Rudolf Mago/Foghorn

Will play Katoa obviously if he starts.  Not sure what to do with Knight, might hold one more week.  If Katoa starts, I'm tempted to use my fourth trade and get both Mago and Foghorn and get a nice kitty.

You think Fui spells Frizell for 20-30 minutes rather than just being injury cover?

Amuses me how many plans are being made just before teams are named and they all need to be changed.

When starting at 2RF last season he averaged just 61 minutes and only played more than 70 minutes 3 times. Rava, then Sims are why he played 80 rounds 1 and 2 this season. Would be surprised if it continues.

Cash? Playable points? both? And for how many weeks.
Surely with the amount of FRF available, and Lodge coming back so early, surely Lodge plays low minutes for a week or two. I can’t see how Flegler sees many minutes every week. I can see a lot of rotation in that front row. Does this mean we can’t captain Haas anymore?

What's the big hype around Matterson, I can't see him getting more than 60 most weeks

Haven't made any specific plans, but it's very likely I'm trading out Fifita, Williams and probably Kennedy and Walters as well. I assume there'll be two cheapies available (Grant plus another), I'm getting Turbo, which just leaves one spot. I'm either looking to bring in a gun, or save a bit of cash for Cleary in a couple of weeks and take a punt on someone like Frizell, Maguire, etc.

Just yet another excuse to hit the reverse trade button.

Points? Giddy up, I'll take that! Minutes? Well he played 80 for the first two rounds, and at second row for the Tigers played 80 almost every game, so I don't see why it wouldn't continue.

Matterson is slightly under priced from moves to 5/8 and lock last season at the Tigers. Plus he also plays in the channel outside Moses that saw Ma'u score a heap of tries last year. It's a matter of when, not if he puts up a few big scores

Good trades. Two duds and an injury out for an uber gun, solid cash cow and cheapie.

I was surprised to learn Ma'u only scored two tries outside Moses at 2RF last year. Your point is sound though, the ball went down that channel leading to line breaks, assists, tackles busts etc. and good scores regardless.

Is there anyone threatening Aubo's spot as a big minute second rower
