So happy I got rid of Stimson before round 2 lockout. On the other hand I bought in Watkins before round 2 lockout as well.

I would be happy with 4 trades and I think it’s what they will do.

I think I will probs need all 4.

It would be awesome if Magoulias got starting lock but Morris will probs stick with Williams.

Will anyone be holding Williams? I was so mad at him after last game I dunno if I can watch him stink it up again.....

Now some injured players will be ready to go who wouldn’t have been weeks ago there could be a lack of cows the first couple of weeks back which will make things interesting!

How is everyone placed ranking wise?.... I’m at 2229.

I think if round 3 had been immediately after round 2, Magoulias would have started with Williams lucky to make the bench. Interesting to see if that still happens after a few weeks break.

Carrigan could become an issue by round 5 as well with Lodge and Ofa back.

    Knight I’ll hold for now.

I wonder what Cleary will get? If he’s suspended it’ll probs just be one match.

Nathaniel Roache has become first player to fall foul of new protocols. Understand he has a sore throat so has not made trip to Australia with Warriors

Going to be a really messy season, any cold or flu symptoms will see players stood down. Makes getting a full squad more important for round 3, as lots of issues to deal with following that.

Bit of a wierd feeling in here, usually 3 weeks before footy kicks off this place is packed. I guess everyone is a bit flat and not getting there hopes up for May 28 in case its gets canned or pushed back.

From a fantasy point of view - even if the footy kicks off on May 28, we don't yet know which teams are playing and where. More importantly we don't know how many trades we'll get. Bit pointless trying to plan anything until we know that.

Apparently they are all getting flu shots, except there's some anti vaxers, so do they get stood down ?

Anyone else been trading out Stimson every day for the last 2 months? Brings me a sense of joy seeing that bastard leave my team

NRL advising that players on development contracts will be available to play from round 3.
"Players on development contracts will be available to play as soon as the competition resumes on May 28, easing the rule that required an NRL exemption for them to be named before June 30."
    https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/05/04/contract-talks-resume-with-nrl-to-register-new-deals/

Can see a couple of surprise selections for round 3, with a guy like Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow a decent chance to get a start, would be a must have selection

how much will Rapana be, ballpark do we think since he's not in the game yet? Could almost be worth a hail Mary if he's cheap enough, uninjured and playing outside Curtis Scott who's less of a ball hog than Joey

Based on last years scoring, I have him around $406k

honestly that's kinda tempting, that means he's priced in the late 20s right? He averaged 29 last year but looked injured most of the time, then 36 in 2018, 50 in 2017 and 47 in 2016 so could be a little bit of value based on pedigree, if the Raiders have a soft draw in the condensed season he could be worth a look I feel

Yeah I have been looking into him, when scoring as a gun WFB he was averaging 7 TBs a game. His role was a bit different then though, would take a lot of runs from dummy half. The new rules dont really help wingers either, even if they are getting tries they are less likely to get as many TBs when scoring tries.

On the upside, when Bateman is back, that right side attack will be the strongest it has been in many years, with Williams running the show.

For me he is a wait and see, if he starts playing like he did when gunning it I will be quickly onto him, but that form remains to be seen still.
