So this is the official cookie cutter team. Like many users here we have gone the cheap centre route.

Taumalolo and Cleary were the most popular players to miss out, but Cleary lost out to Moses and not enough room for both. Taumalolo not popular enough for his price tag so Haas gets in as captain

I think the 17 and captain picks itself, only question is who gets 2nd half spot.

I like it. Balanced across the board and a similar feel to last year's structure particularly in the backs. Plus it's different enough from my own team that I don't feel cookie cutter lol

It may or may not be a good team, but one thing it certainly isn't is balanced.

We have zero CTR or WFB cover. Any injuries or duds in there and we are forced to use a trade.

We do have $116k in the bank though to fix up any issues

Thanks Milch! Looks about right, a fair representation of the forum.

It is a little bit too risky for me personally, but I disagreed with a bunch of the community choices last year too and the community was proven right almost every time.

We certainly need luck with injuries/form in the backline though

Yeah you're right I didn't extend as far as the bench

Wow. I am out of touch. Nine different from the community team, but then again I have gone No Hass, higher value centres etc. Hope I come out on top.

PS The cookie cutter team is kcufed if there is any injuries in the backs. Perhaps it needs to be moulded a little to cover this. Could we do a test on that before tomorrow?

At the moment I too am rolling into round one without CTR cover at least. Fuck me, hadn't even noticed, but I just noticed I also have no WFB cover either in my team. Man I need to look at that tomorrow.

I didn't trade Aekins out, so we have him. I don't think people thought he'd be subbed after 60 minutes or he wouldn't have been picked in the first place

Shibasaki was next in line for voting - but we can think about it and choose our WFB option during the week.

Just means one of our trades has to be a back

100%. can’t see him holding his place given how good Crichton looked when he came on. With or without Edwards’ return.
