Missed those 3 spuds, it was Deadwoods for me but punted him early. Trading in every other Broncos forward but Haas in the beginning wasn't good either. Hung in there with Teddy & RTS, but it still feels like RTS was a mistake.

There is no way I am starting with Haas next year.
Not a single score below 50, he will be priced at an absolute premium, and I doubt he will significantly improve on his average next year. Will be better value out there

I've got 3. Fifita, Murray, Nikora.
5 for me: Cook, Tedesco, Fifita, Nikora & Burns. Although, Cook and Burns were out then back in.....

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 82
I started with Ofa(scored around his price, punted week 1 for Lawrie), McCullough(scored around his price, always bigger fires to put out), Holland(punted way too late), Edwards(punted way too late) which severely hindered my ranking. Combined with not trading in Bateman until round 8 because I finally thought he was on the same tier as Cook (Captaining him for 20, Fifita for 11 a week later) cost me from contending. While I was playing captaincy roulette and losing Cook was averaging 77 over a 4 week period

Edwards was easily the biggest dud pick of my year. Not trading him until round 6 also very poor, in hindsight.

Morgan wasn't a big dud. He might have been a touch below expectations, but he was serviceable.
Holland was the big fail of the forum, Edwards wasn't as popular here but also was a poor pick.
Noone had CHT to start the year, it was Keighran who started in first grade, and he was a good scorer until he got dropped

Morgan was ok, no disaster. 450k and solid 40s, made some money and playable until the bye. Not sure even with hindsight there was a better week one halfback at his price (Wighton and Moses were more expensive).
CHT and Stimson I don't think started Rnd 1, so were late changes to most teams?
Napa was a bad pick. And if anyone went with Holland or Edwards (I didn't, phew) not correcting that early could fuck a season fast.
I started with all three of these haha. Edwards and Holland were both traded out in round 2 though.

I wish I followed you on those ones. Edwards lasted till round 5 for me with Holland round 3

I wonder how many will pick Edwards nexr year... he's been good in the second half of the season and there'll be a lot of arguments that he's undervalued..

I think I had high expectations for macca to return to gun status and didn’t trade him out for a long time

Edwards this year was like Croft last year. Very popular pre-season, started the season like a piece of wet lettuce, got dropped, then eventually came back and showed the form that everyone was going for from the start, but far too late to be useful.
Not many forgave Croft for this year when he was priced at similar value to what Edwards will be next year

Macca was one of my first picked in January, then in the last week before the season kicked off i went cold on him. Went Friend instead, who started on fire, but obviously didnt last long.

Friend will be popular to start the year. Average of 77 in his big minute games and will have a pricing discount for less than 10 games

I'm selling Twal this week so that brings it down to 3
But I also had Matterson at the start, sold him before the first bye and he's now back in my team where he belongs

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 82
Only have three from round one; Teddy, Nikora and Murray (Had fifi until two weeks ago) which is a surprise
Had a bunch of not so great RD 1 picks;
Ravalawa over Sivo
Host over Lawrie/Burr
McCullough over someone less boring
Sironen for some reason I suspect was $$
Sele over someone less sleepy
and Kahu who I suspected was going to be meh and didn't disappoint
Trade ins that flopped/cost were probably Burns (harsh but sitting on bench injured twice) Havilli, Pearson (panic buy in Bye round) and the fact I wasted so many trades on injured halfbacks again (Reynolds x 2, Deardon, Hutchison, both Warriors halves, Milf, D.Brown, started with Cleary)
On a positive note I didn't really hang on to anyone too long this year
