This is just weird. Didn;t we just re sign him and now he can't get a game? Good player but his injuries are unending, would prefer he was on the outer.

I do that as people around here talked me into Brown over Ma'u 2 weeks back. mmmm
Brown does seem to be coming back to fantasy form.

DCE as a POD captain this week?

Or do we reckon they’ll have a hangover after playing Storm last week and Knights lift meaning Manly only narrowly win?

Or will Manly give them a drubbing?

Forum legend status for those of those of us who don't have him.
Other option is you get his scores for the rest of the year if he doesn't break and then you'll be able to constantly give non-owners the shit by bragging a about bringing him it.
Surely you need to be saving trades so none of the above happens?

And going off of madges recent comments, he'll be the only recognised nine in the 30 next season. Jake Simpkin will most likely be a development contract.

Also just signed a young centre form Wynnum Manly, Reece Hoffman.

Played nsw cup last week. Played decent from all reports. Think Madge wants a 4 forward bench atm.

Lawrence to 12 and McQueen to bench, i'd imagine he would spell RM for 5-7mins each half

It seems bizarre that Farah is now an 80 min hooker again. Someone with trades left has the take a gamble on it - if it stays this way you’re getting 60 ppw for 570k.

Hey guys, could use some advice. I've never been in contention of winning anything, but I'm currently 166 points behind the leader of the Cowboys league (I'm in 5th).

I know that team may not be the only one I need to worry about, but as it is, it's his Milford, Fainu, ARey vs my Tedesco, Murray, Moses. I think mine scores a little more, but enough to cover the 166 points with some luck with the captain choices?? I don't know if he's got trades of course either. I'm wondering if a bold play like captain Teddy could be the go? Given he doesn't have Teddy (at least not yet), if Teddy went large against Titans I could cover a big chunk of those points in one go. Or the safe play is better and if Teddy goes large I still gain on him anyway?

The guy in second might have the better team. His Jurbo, DCE, Twal (who might be traded if he has them???) vs my Murray, Moses, Tevaga.

I guess I'm wondering am I close enough to give it a crack with my current POD's or do I need a bold play to have any chance? Thanks for any thoughts.

I think just stick with the choices that you think will score the most points.

If you think Teddy will comfortably go large this week, then go for it, but there are a number of others that aren't WFBs that can score just as high, have higher floors and don't need a try hit a big one.

My memory is hazy, but I remember the guy leading last year (Zora?) was up by like ~300 points, only had a couple of players different from the eventual winner and got tracked down with only 2-3 weeks left.

It was an incredible amount of luck, but you're not as far behind, have more time and Teddy, Moses, Tevaga and Murray are guys you can trust to put up decent to great scores basically every week.
