Don't think he's confirmed out. Someone called @CastTiger on Twitter said MCK failed his HIA but shortly after posted that Maguire said at this stage he's still playing.

Think Fainu will be good this week at the minimum

Reckon I'll still play Fainu either way since Api should only get about 30 minutes surely. Hopefully he doesn't play to make things easier.

Cant see Api playing and if he does I wouldn't expect more than 20 regardless

If you have the 4 gun WFBs, who do you put in the first-look loop spot? Not Ted as he plays too late, so I suppose the question is "who is most likely to come up with a sub-45 score, TTurbo, RTS or Ponga"

I think between Ponga and RTS. Probably RTS if I'm honest.

Thoughts on who I should captain? At the moment it's on Teddy but I might go Munster against the Broncos, could be a POD captaincy pick (since I reckon a lot of people will C Cook, Lolo or Teddy)

Munster has way too many low scores in him to be considered a captain option. Massive risk.

    Just this year:

    40
    40
    37
    45
    35
    40
    44

44% of his games, he's failed to post a score higher than 45.

Teddy is about the same to be fair. Neither of them are worth the risk when Cook, Smith, Tolo and Haas have been so reliable.

I know, I just think that the Storm are pretty filthy with themselves after losing and might do what they did last time they lost, which coincidentally enough was at Suncorp, though against the Eels. Munster got 95 that game, and I think a big one is coming.

I'm ranked at 227 overall and chasing ground so I think it's a good pick. Teddy vs the Titans is good too but the Chooks have shown that they're a bit lazy when they've got the game wrapped up.

3 weeks ago I had Milford and Watson in my team with 5 trades remaining and my team was complete. Now I have traded them for SJ and Twal and my team is actually worse than it was coming out of the bye rounds. Oh and I am 2k short of Twal>Brown even though it’s only 3k difference  Embarassed

Ranked 23 and I’m still gravely disappointed with my coaching decisions this season.

Well you are ranked ahead of me and I am chasing ground by sticking to the high-percentage plays and hoping that people ranked higher than me take risks so don't let me stop you! Laughing

What are you hoping to achieve for the season?

EDIT: and although I've never thought of myself as pretty, I'll take it! Laughing

This is actually one of the dangers of having too many trades left at the end of the season. You feel like you have to use them!

Hoping to get as high up as I can, I'd never been anywhere near this high up before this year (finished in the 1400s last year), and trying to win L51 (currently sitting 1st but am neck and neck with Chewie, the finals will be interesting).

You cant be too down about those trades. At the time they were well and truly the correct moves.

3 weeks ago I had Watson, Milford, nikora. Now I have Munster, SJ, Jurbo. My 20/20 hindsight is telling me it was very sideways

    Sometimes you just can't win.

Watson was benched and everything pointed to him needing to be traded. Could have lost cash very fast. I traded him.

Milford was a risk. Had a big BE and word was he'd have to manage his injury and possibly be hampered by it. I traded him.

Can understand trading Nikora but I felt his scores were acceptable for a centre.

Wanted to get Munster and jurbo for Xerri and Watson. Waited one week too long and couldn’t afford it. Had to go nikora.
