I'm $1k short of being able to bring in Cody and Jake T which I don't mind as I think RTS and Ma'u might just about match them.
The reason I'm trading Angus is he is a necessary starter in my 17 and I'm not dealing with that with the doubt about his roll in the team. Happier for Ma'u to be there.
Any other 2RF worth considering under $675k??

No keen on Nathan Brown instead of Ma'u?

    Still got six trades

If SJ or Pong Pong don't play, it Borris or Drown in.

I think four trades is enough for 6 rounds. It seems most people have a lot less.

Everyone starting to have the same team anyway. I am still in 1500th or so. Could be the only way to get into the top 1000

in a worst case scenario, i don't think the difference between whatever Brown and Lichaa scores this week would make or break your season, certainly not enough to throw away 2 trades, with 6 trades under your belt for the last 6 rounds, EMG shouldn't even come into play, unless you got severly unlucky, you should just be able to trade across to another gun to remedy any injury situations.

EDIT: just to add, i think it's more likely to pick up extra places late in the season using trades to field a constant gun-17 when everybody else has run out out of them and has to patchwork their team, as opposed to panic trading for the sake of a few extra points now.

Anyway, a couple of upgrades this week to finish off the team. Xerri and Watson to Turbo and Cook.

Probably captain Smith. Cook back to set and forget captain next week.

Primarily because Jrbo is super consistent and I need decent 2rf cover on the pine

Now I'm thinking i could go
    Mahoney - CM9

Primarily for the 5 extra points per week but it does mean if I want 2rf cover I have to play burns in CTR and use Nikora as 2rf cover while also involving him in some shenanigans with AFB

Anyone have a strong opinion either way?

Apologies for the bump but still musing

Good thinking I suppose, I think I was going along the lines of there is no point having trades unused at the end of the season, So maybe I will assume everyone is playing and hope that there are some devious cases of popular players not being able to play (not due to an injury of course - would not wish that on anyone. I still think there could be some value in Cmith to Friend. Having only 2k spare often really limits what those injury trades are

    Players I am considering include:
    Aubbusson (I know!)
    Naden
    Lichaa
    Tapine
    Borris

Happy for them to be a boom or bust player as I can put them in the loop. Any thoughts appreciated thanks fellas

Given what you've said I reckon Naden is worth a go. I think the Panthers will finish the season strong and he will be part of that.

That's your issue then too many playable players in positions which aren't the highest scoring

Brooks been poor last few weeks but still averaging a tick under 50, need to use 1 of them to upgrade your scoring bench or elsehwere

If SJ doesn't play, I have to trade a half in.  Fifita is my other trade so will probably punt on Clifford.  Would rather SJ play and get Burns and Fifi instead though. No decent dearer half leaves me enough coin to trade Mahoney to Fifita.

Agreed I bought a couple of guys that I thought would help me in round 16 and now I don't have the trades to get rid of them

I trades heavily for the byes so I didn't have to finish in the 9000s, guess I'm paying for it now
