NSW will probably still fall over the line because QLD are so poor, but if they lose it'll be "Pearce's fault" yet again and Freddie will also look like an idiot.

How fucking funny would that be.

I've avoided most of the carnage luckily. I'm now considering some Balls trading and using all four to really capitalise. Trading Ponga allows me to get Matterson this week and better depth too. Will have fuck all trades once I've finished but I really like it otherwise.

Thoughts on Bmoz as a trade in?

Does he even stay in the team when Ted pushes Manu back to the centres next week?

He would keep a spot over Hall perhaps?

I keep looking at trading Ponga, but I already traded Fifita so not sure that's very wise lol.

Yeah, I think Hall might be 1st choice winger now (he was out last week for family reasons, not dropped). Wouldn't mind Hall as a sneaky pod if had the trades and was 100% sure on his place, but BMoz even less secure.

Yeah mate I kept Fifita. I probably wouldn't trade out both, especially if you want them back in again.

Oh yes please trade Ponga out people. Trade out a DPP WFB/HLF who has scored below 50 just once since his move back to fullback?

Well if you want to, I can't stop you maniacal laugh

Ha, I still plan to get him back again (after his 3-4 weeks out Basketball ). But like I said, fuck all trades left after that.

Very worried he will miss more than 2 weeks also.

Regardless, I'm still tempted, but that Dragons list looks pretty weak compared to the Storm 17, so I'm wary of any Dragons cash outs.

Just shows he has great base potentially, any attacking stats could net him a decent score

What do you guys think of Mahoney to Lodge? Credit to Welshy for the idea, but I like it the more I think about it.

Mahoney's 3 and 5 round averages are 49.7 and 50.6, while Lodge's are 53 and 53.8. Considering Lodge has the extra game and gives me much-needed FRF cover, as well as being a huge POD (1.6% owned), it seems a no-brainer, but an argument could be made for me to hold Mahoney and use the trade elsewhere

A fair few are running SST/Twal on their scoring interchange for the run in, Lodge is close to those 2 (on current form) will outscore SST/Mahoney as he plays the extra game but not sure he will average per game as high as Twal/SST

It's sideways technically, But at this point in season all about total points scored and Lodge should edge Mahoney in this scenario

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Lodge will at least average the same as Mahoney, which means he scores more with the extra game. Was looking at Twal too but just not convinced for some reason. I have plenty of 2RF depth so Twal's DPP isn't as crucial to me since I have guys like Tevaga and Bateman who I can use to cover back row with the way my final team will look

I've just blown up the team with four trades to try and make some ground from 397 overall. Had 11 trades going in, 7 left now.

Now have 13 starters this week (incl PKaufusi, Walters/$212 starter). Not sure if this is par for the week?

Included trade outs of Ponga and Murray

Will aim to get Ponga, Cook and probably DCE in when fit/available.
