There is no restriction on using development list players in your team after June 30. The "must be in top 30" rule doesn't apply now.

I just dug up some old posts, because I can't for the life of me recall what happened last year, and I've got time to kill..

Found a post I made with a detailed teamlist after the second bye round. I had 4 trades left and was sitting 87th (finished 14th overall at end of year). Don't remember how I used those trades but I still had Mbye at that point and I know I finished with Tommy T. Didn't have Ponga at that point, and I feel like I brought him back in when he came back from injury for a few weeks. I also had N Brown in my side who got injured with a few rounds left in the season.

Post also mentioned that in the two weeks since I'd owned SJ, he'd dropped 145k Laughing

.. buying SJ this week.. Beer

I'll have more trades than last season. That doesn't mean I'm 100% comfortable with it - this season has been a bit of a injury/resting nightmare and I'm sure it'll continue. Last season I had zero trades for the last 5 or 6 rounds (from memory) - I kept quiet about it at the time Very Happy

Being two players down this round (SST & Milf - not counting Fifita) has my head in a spin and I might burn another trade. That's ~100 points gone vs what I expected so making a trade eases this pain a bit.

We'd all like to have more Smile

The point I am perhpas too subtly making is that you dont get to the top without being agrgessive with your trades. I highly doubt, although I dont know for sure, that any of you fullahs previously listed at the top will have more than 4 trades left after round 17, in fact I think for most it will be more like 3 or less. Maybe MTB cause I know he managed to bank a few early...

Anyone else think that Seggy could drop out of the Broncos 17 and Paix come in to play in the halves?

Coates seems like he is being primed for NRL. Gets called up into the Dolphins squad, plays QLD, plays PNG, named 18th man last week. Maybe the whole "Seibs has been wanting to drop Boyd for a little while" has some truth behind it

Hey guys, consensus so far seems to be that for the community team we will vote on a two week trade plan.

So if you want to contribute to the different options head over to NRLFF community managed fantasy team

    Post your:
    * proposed trades for this week

    * proposed trades for next week

    * Team post trades (i.e. the team we will have going into week 17) cash remaining and trades remaining.

We will then compile the options and vote on them tomorrow.

Team can be found in the thread 2nd most recent page. Currently 7 trades left with $216k in the bank.

It's just a rumour/theory re D. Boyd but someone said on the Broncos forum that the reason they sold all those players was so they could pay off D. Boyd rather than him playing reserve grade for a couple of years & that Boyd could say he's retiring to save face.

Yesterday i had finally settled on Klemmer. Back to the drawing board.

Crichton owners what roll in he playing now? When Roosters are full strength where does he fit in?

Could Boyd do an Inglis so it doesn't count towards the cap?

    For you Broncos members

    What is more likely

    a) Boyd retired, Isaako to FB, Coates to Wing
    b) Boyd retires, Farnworth FB (plays there in Qcup), Isaako wing
    c) Boyd doesn't retire

Milford if he gets back. Until then I think it will be Boyd.

Farnworth has never played fb in Q CUP. Only centre/wing.

NRL.com Late Mails prediction; Ryan Papenhuyzen is listed on the bench but could come into the fullback role which would see Jahrome Hughes switch to five-eighth and Billy Walters make his NRL debut off the interchange.

scratch hmmm. I really prefer to bring Walters in over Coates, but if Walters comes of the bench...
At least it's the first game of the round so I can make changes before the round kicks off

Apparently the NRL are currently looking into a matter that would allow Tim Simona to return through Manly's Feeder side the Blacktown Workers. Manly were trying to get it done before the June 30 Deadline but NSWRL handed the matter over to the NRL who are looking at ratifying the decision. This would see Simona make his comeback either this week or next.

Anyone considered J Saifiti instead? Named to start. Not the best fantasy pedigree, but Klemmer playing origin now too. Is just above base price though at 244k. Could play 45 to 50 minutes..

Yeah, just doing Dearden to Coates for now and will wait for final teams to grab Walters.

Even though I changed Coates to Walters my feeling was this switch will happen before KO
