    Only have 6 trades left.

I'm starting with CNK + Havili to RTS + SJ.
Probably bring in at least 1 cashie (Coates if no one better turns up)
Don't have Twal so he is a trade in consideration too

Then have to decide what to do with Cleary, Ponga, Milford. I suspect I'll have to hold Cleary, waiting on further info before moving on the other 2
Potentially I'll end up holding CNK as 19th man if I am trading out guns due to injury

I think we've had similar seasons, Milchy.
Somehow I've gone against my gut and been more gung-ho. Already traded out CNK (for RTS), Havili and Cleary.
6 trades left too and this week is Dearden to SJ and Martin to Coates (if no one better turns up).

Leaves me pretty thin outside my 17 for the run home but hopefully four trades will be enough. Xerri is my 18th man if that even counts.

I would've held Cleary if I have the cover. I think last season I had him in the second half of the season and he carved up.
Loves a second-half of the season. Should've known not to start with him!

Just checked - Last season, Clearly averaged 63 in his last seven games.

Didn't he tank for a few weeks after Origin before finishing strong? I swear my big regret last year was trading him after some lean scores after Origin before he started dominating.

Said this before, but gotta give props to @Rabbit who I think made one of the biggest fantasy calls this year. Dont have the post but Im pretty sure he said Farah would bust right at the time Farrah was consistently bumping out 60s+. Basically said he was an old man and wouldnt last the season playing 80min.

DISC: he did have a few shockers too Smile

Yeah he took a while to get going last year... Cant recall how many games I had him before he took off but it was a few. I'd avoid him this year tbh.

1 - He stays starting lock even when Burr is back
2 - If Burr comes back onto the bench, he doesn't take minutes of Jazzy
3 - He doesn't have anymore injury effected games (two this year)
4 - He doesn't miss anymore games due to injury (two this year)
5 - He doesn't score less than 40 going forward (five from twelve games this year)

I don't know about you but I don't have that many fingers to cross.
From what I can tell he's being hyped up in here based on one start and a high score in that start.
For those bringing Johnson in, are you crossing your fingers for the following:

1 - He doesn’t have any more injury affected games (one this year)
2 - He doesn’t miss anymore games through injuries (Six this year)
    3 - He doesn’t score less than 40 (4 from 8 games this year)

And Johnson is the 7th most traded-in player this round.

They are two entirely different situations really.

I'm not sold on SJ but my options are limited.

I could wait a week but DCE is no longer goal kicking and Arey is high injury risk, especially just after a back injury.

In my mind, he is cheap enough to have a punt - considering it also frees up some cash to bring someone like Burns in for cover.

But yes, I have my fingers crossed

After using all 4 trades and getting 2 cashouts and now having 4 trades left I need to go from:
    Watson (629k) + Xerri (505k) + cash (419k) = 1553k
    to TTurbo (753k) + Fifita (745k) = 1498k

But then this leaves no room to get a better 18th man than Mann (or D Brown with 1 trade for run home) with a final 17 of:
    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Matterson Murray Taumalolo
Munster Ponga (will be Mann and only cashouts as cover while Ponga injured)
    Bateman Nikora
    RTS Tedesco TTurbo

    Smith McInnes Taupau SST/Klemmer
Mann Carrigan Coates Kerr (that EMG Vomit )
    Xerri’s BE is 50

Will he get the ball in his hands though, that's the question.

Spose that is a problem on the wing, the ball won't need to go that far before it crosses the try line.

This was based on Milchy's BE table because the official fantasy ones were way off in last bye round because it wasn't adjusted for the expensive players missing which meant lots of people thought players like Rein were going to rise but fell after lockout of bye round. Still same principle holds, especially if Xerri is named wing again he probably won't make BE and I will likely have an absolute shit 18th man (If I get around 40k between Mann, Xerri and Watson I can afford Burns for Mann but that only leaves 1 trade for the run home and SST is also apparently in a little doubt according to Supercoach early mail)

Edit: the SST "doubt" is based on HIA protocols - what a load of clickbait bullshit

Long term, who would you keep out of CNK, Xerri & Thompson? One will go next week, another likely the following week.

I'll have 2 trades for the run home.

My depth is dire and so I guess I'll just have to be like Austin Powers and live dangerously.

Do you need cover? That might sway it. I'd go for CNK if it is a straight up pick

Fair things to consider and definitely risk vs reward but I don't think we're comparing apples to apples..

The half position has been a minefield this year. What other half options do we have in the same price bracket that will be starting halves (won't be dropped, won't play off the bench)?

Bringing in Jazz as a hooker when Fainu is available? That's a big punt, to me. Fainu has locked down the starting hooker role and should punch outside consistent keeper level scores. Jazz's role is still up in the air.
