Just saw confirmation of Hughes being out from NRL Physio, welcome to the team, little Papi. This makes my plan a bit better since Papi will play 16 even with Hughes there (would be Papi FB Hughes 5/8 most likely), meaning I get 2 good weeks out of him and can then sell to someone else afterwards

I wonder if it's closer to a DBrown back injury or an ARey back injury

Either way, we know for sure he's got FB this week, and almost certainly next week too (since Hughes would move to 5/8 to cover Munster if he's back by then)

I reckon he is if you only want the two week points chase, which is why I'd do it. I don't really care about him making money, I just want his points. It also frees up more cash to get another genuine gun in (since my alternative would be to buy RTS who is 150k more).

When Croft got KOed against the Warriors, he moved Hughes to the halves. Plus, he's got Papi there who is such a gun at FB that I doubt he'd bring in a debutant when he can just put Hughes there who will do a job.

FUCK! Would love to buy Pappy at his price. Wish we knew if the Hughes injury was going to be like a 2 week or a 2 month injury >.< This would save so much cash for me as Pappy would be a final 17 player for sure. Even still maybe Pappy shows enough for the next two weeks and forces Bellamy's hand to move Hughes to HB.

I hope so, both in fantasy terms and also as a Storm fan. I love Hughes but Papi is so dangerous in attack in a way that Hughes just isn't. I'm getting Papi in because he surely plays 16 at FB, and I would hold as long as he keeps getting starts.

Big Tino is a gun. Been killing it in the lower grades.

Probably clutching at straws but I feel this is one of those times where we think Pappy will only get 1-2 games but then keeps getting starts, and Hughes keeps getting pushed back.. Plus if Croft keeps fucking up it won't be long until he gets the bellyache boot.
