Yeah it's good to have a goal to keep it interesting. After spending most of the year in the 3000-8000's I'll be happy with a top 1000 finish (current 738th after last round) But I'm about 200 points off top 500 which who knows could be doable. About 300 points off what would be my best finish, unlikely, and about 500 points off top Cowboys supporter, no chance. Then there's L4, not looking pretty at just outside the 8 but still a chance and not giving up. Or even just doing better than last year's 1374 would be a small win.

Yeah true, I didn't factor that in. Ponga had a 53 average from 19 games at FB last year, so if we put this years and last somewhere in the middle, it's pretty close.

RTS is averaging more than last year too, but SJ gone is a possible explanation. RTS does like a niggling injury too, so no guarantee that he plays all 12 remaining games.

I don't think Teddy will get a rest. Roosters are 3 losses on the trot and will want a full strength team to get a bit win. Then after R16 Roosters V Storm in what both clubs will want full strength squads. Turbo also has a 4 day turnaround after Origin III and I expect Manly to be in a fighting chance for a top 8 spot so Des will probably want all hands on deck so I think he and Teddy both still have 11 games in them.

It'll be interesting if Tedesco gets a rest so those looping end up getting CNK's score anyway 🙈🙉🙊

The Roosters/Storm game is next round after the standalone Origin, as you said I doubt he gets rested for that (5 days after Origin 2). Can see him getting rested after Origin 3 (Round 17 v Cowboys 4 days after Origin)

Yeah I had a look before the round and I am only about 50-80 points off top 250 I think. I am also sitting 6th in the L4 league right now and 348 points off first place in the Storm league (currently 19th).

Oh I though Roosters Storm was post game 3. In that case he may be rested after Origin 3.

Spose you've had a look yourself, but interesting the guy in first played Sivo over CNK.. Evil or Very Mad

3rd to 6th all played CNK.

Bloke in 7th put him at #21 and has brought in Corey Thompson Evil or Very Mad

EDIT: actually - maybe 1st is trading Sivo to RTS, or someone else?

Doesn't really matter, the point of the post was that RTS will play all those games unless injured and will go close or close enough to being the best option for WFB3 as a result. If he finishes a few points behind Turbo or a roughie it's no biggie and $$ saved helps the rest of the squad. Unless you subscribe to the theory that his scoring will remain subdued for the foreseeable future.

I said earlier that I don't think Teddy will be rested this week because it's up to him apparently and they've lost 3 straight.

There's still a very good chance that he's rested for Rd 17 though from the reports coming out about resting 2 and 2, which turned out accurate with Latrell and Crichton out last week.

Roosters primary concern will be finishing top 4, which they still should. They face Cowboys Rd 17, not Storm..

I gave Tom the 11 games and he was still the worst of the 4, giving him an average of 49.3 from 3 games when he's never scored higher than that. 48.9 last year, 47 the year before, 41 before that..

Didn't Robinson clear up all this rest nonsense and basically confirm that the other two (Cordner and Tedesco) will be rested after game 3 ?

I'd say Kenny looks good for 60 minutes and 40 points. Turpin can of course score well but with Macca back I'd be worried he get's 30 minutes for about 30 points or less. That's my gut feel, I didn't look closely at the numbers.

Only have Captain Lolo tonight. If I was home I would hoping for him to trample any Tiger that goes near him and would be keenly death riding RTS as well, but I'll be out. I'll have to watch the replay.

Bit harsh mate, didn't see you add anything to the conversation, at least he tried. No wonder the empire fell when a bunch of clones can't get along Razz

You've got your priorities all wrong. Get her a beer and a hotdog at the game.
