Yeah thats what i had thought.

Maybe on a normal day, Buhrer spells Watson for 15-20?

O'Sullivan seems an overpriced dud trade. Don't like it at all

Haas being dropped/not risked would be a nice little gift from the fantasy gods

Finucane really a chance for Origin? If so might just be safest to go SST

    CM9 Tolman JFH Martin
    Arey Brittain Dearden Sivo

    231K and 11 trades

I think I have found my formula for the next 3 weeks. I have based this off my expected averages on MTB’s site so might be off a little. Also might depend on whether the cows are 212-228K

    This rounds trades
    JFH > Smith
    Tolman > Bateman
    Sivo > O’Sullivan
    11K and 8 trades remaining

    R15 Trades
    Dearden > R16 cow (212K)
roughly 147K and 7 trades remaining

    R16 Trades
    Martin > R16 cow (212K)
    CNK > R16 Gun/Keeper around 650-700K (Twal/SST/Kbrom)
roughly 287-337K and 5 trades remaining

    R17 Trades
Mann and O’Sullivan to two players worth roughly 1,242,000 to 1,272,000K
Players of Interest: Munster/Turbo/Wighton/SJ/RTS (Boom/Bust type player preferable one WFB and one HLF/DPP.
Leaves 3 trades from R18 to 25 which isn’t good.

    Team would be
    HOK: D.Cook
    FRF: A.Fifita P.Haas
    2RF: M.Taupau C.Murray J.Taumololo
    HLF: N.Cleary A.Reynolds
    CTR: J.Bateman B.Nikora
    WFB: J.Tedesco K.Ponga T.Trbojevic
    BENCH: C.Smith C.McInnes S.Taukeiaho NPR
EMG: B.Xerri Boom/Bust player NPR NPR

3 trades is not leaving much for injuries etc. but it is the best I can do I think.

    Thoughts/Any Changes

Yeah mate, thats the sort of process I go through.

    My face-value thoughts are:
Cash does seem to be an issue so I'd avoid Robinson at this point (seems like you have already though).

3 trades is fine for the run home, in fact I think 2 or 3 is probably the target number if you want to max your final ranking position but still have a bit of a safety net.

Hold on the Dearden trade until round 16, you will have more certainty that the guy you are brining in actually plays.

Not sure about O'Sullivan mate. $500k for a bit of an unknown. I'd explore Watson as an option (that you plan to trade out after 16) or in the absence of news I'd actually favour trading out ARey. You could also shif Ponga to the halves and use Sivo as a third WFB this week. The whole ARey thing could be a killer if he is out for a while. Its a gamble wither way, but at least one way you can take the ball into your court, the other relies on a massive unknown.

Im a big fan of the Bateman and Smith trades this week - but as above, I'd look at an alternative way to afford them, cough cough ARey Smile Maybe ARey to Watson/RTS/SST etc...

Just some ideas and thoughts mate, GL.

Got 8 after trades this week - Smith, McInnes, Fifita, Watson, Nikora, Xerri, Lomax, Carrigan

Will add 2 more for JFH and Havili in next 2 weeks (SST/Matterson and cashout) and then possibly consider rather sideways trade of Munster to SJ (if he falls below 600k) in order to fund rest of final 17 post Origin (CNK to DCE, Xerri to JTurbo and Watson to TTurbo)

I think ARey goes for me this week. My team is low on cash so can't have him sitting there. Someone talk me out of Tedesco this week?

Community team which is pretty stock standard currently has 6: CM9, CS9, Fifita, Milf, Nikora, & Xerri and I suspect most teams should be looking to have those (perhaps not all with Milf though). I think we will probably bring in 2 cashouts which will play 16, + I think Pearce will be traded in this week, perhaps adding a TWal/SST/Watson type player too, and then maybe RTS as well. So that would be 9, 10 or 11 depending on how aggressive the forum is!!

That team has good cash generation, and enough trades to go to 11 if willing!

Everyone has Haas, so getting dropped from origin wouldn't really affect anything.. plus he's not gonna get dropped with Klemmer also injured.

Has there been any news on Dearden? Last I saw it was 2-8 weeks. If he's potentially back by round 16 i'll hold, but not he's a trade.

No way will it be 2 weeks with a worst grade syndemosis injury - has a range of 6-8 weeks

Earliest returns have only happened recently with DCE and Foran but it is minimum 5 weeks at least

I recall at the start of the season, before he got suspended, people were discussing whether or not he would be a good buy in starting teams. Concerns ove bench roll minutes and whether he could hit a 30 average....how things have changed. Quite incredible really!

Cheers mate. On that advice I have made some changes

    Trades this week
    JFH > Bateman
    Tolman > Watson
    Arey > Smith

    Leaves 146K and 8 trades

    Next week 0 Trades

    R16
    Martin > Cow R16 (212K)
    CNK > HLF (750K or below) - (Milford/SJ/DCE)
    Dearden > SST
    Sivo > Cow R16 (212K)
    leaves 217K and 4 trades

    R17
    Mann and Watson > 1,307,000 for 1 x WFB and 1 x HLF/DPP

Leaves 2 trades for the run home.
