Waqa Blake is injured, but that likely won't help Martin.

JFH failed HIA, so will have to pass tests this week I assume to be fit. That could help Martin.

    *EDIT. Dean Whare also injured.

Hoping for Aekins to get a call-up for one of them (in SC).

7 days on. JFH should be fine. Although I missed how bad his knock was.

Fui could go to centre with Martin coming back in pehaps.

Even with 60 mins, I'd take Havili. 45 average and he'll make 125k in next 3 (so probably around 175-200k by time Hodgson is back) and is only 35k more than D Brown

Or just go straight cash out for cheap player that pops up in R12 (Brittain seems popular, and with Cook you're covered when one plays and one doesn't during Origin period)

Yeah I traded JFH in last week, so I'm nervous. He raced up and got a turnstyle headknock on Gower I think it was. Knew he wasn't coming back instantly, pretty dazed.

Edited that post to say Whare is also injured, both CTRs down, so yeah Fui a good shout to play there.

It's funny that the most surprising thing about this story is that he's still on his P-plates

Footy players can be really dumb sometimes

If I could just go back and trade Cook in instead of Cam Smith, I would be ranked massively higher than I am now. Not having Cook has been a killer the past month. But at the time I made my decision they were both averaging the same, Cook has just gone really big, even by his standards, over the past 4 weeks. If anyone is a must have so far this season it has been Cook (well,  after Haas and Nikora)

As it is, I still have hope that if Cook misses an extra game due to not backing up from origin, then Smith may turn out OK in the long run. But that's how fantasy rolls.

Feel your pain. Cook has destroyed non-cook owners. Will wait and see if any ground can be made up over origin

He's my main downgrade this week to finance various upgrades. 50 average has been fine for the first half of the season but it's time to upgrade

Noone specific, will wait for TLT to see who I can downgrade him to. But that $400-odd thousand will be massive for the Rein-Smith/McInnes, Xerri-Bateman trades of this world. We shall see.

The thing with Vaughan is that his average has actually ducked under 50 over the last few rounds and it doesn't look promising for any big surge in scoring and therefore price. Taupau has the big games in him and I'm more prepared to ride out his 50 average with the occasional 60 than Vaughan's almost-but-not-quite 50s with the occasional 54.
