Kata played NSW Cup on Saturday after the Warriors played the Storm on Thursday. It is an odd one because it would have still involved a flight to Aus. I suppose the compassionate leave given to Kata meant he couldn't get to Melbourne in time to be ready for Thursday's game. I watched most of the NSW Cup game and Kata did not play that well. I hope they stick with Herbert as named.

Warriors pay overs (i.e. $800k/year for Blair) and Broncos pay unders (i.e. $200k for Parker, $100k for Marshall as other examples).
Success attracts players that are willing to play for less to be on a winning team. The same happens in other sports, like Golden State in NBA, got an Allstar for next to nothing for a chance to win a championship.
