Most people here assumed he was just placeholding for Joe Stimson. If we'd known Stimson was going to disappear long term I think a lot of us would have been on the K-train, given he was only $458k to start with.

We were talking yesterday about players whose ISP stats don't reflect their first grade output.

Nat Butcher used to absolutely kill it in U20s. His fantasy average in 2016 was 75 (42 tackles and 180 run metres a game)
But never been able to show that form in first grade. Maybe hes about to get a good run in the team

Was going along sweet with Capewell being my lowest score but then L. Lewis & Munster played haha. I'll be looking for a Lewis replacement next week. A failed punt.

Good on ya for taking a gamble though. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Still can't decide between a keeper in Ponga or a cash generator in Chanel.

Wouldn't be playing Chanel this week but could replace Carty next week

Why wouldn't you play Ponga over Carty this week?

    Option A:
Bird > Ponga + 32k, Ponga plays at WFB replacing Sivo

    Option B:
Bird > CHT + 362k, Sivo/Rava plays WFB this week and CHT probably ends up in EMG unless I switch him with Carty.

Think its probably last chance to get CHT if I'm hoping for 150k+

Have no idea really, or if it's a choice that really matters

There must be some massive psychological impact but Tolman getting downgraded from 60 to 59 just feels demoralising even though it's a 1 point difference

Also a bit salty about Cook not getting a TS because I'm assuming they only give it when they hold people up over the line even though he saved a try by tackling CHN

418(c)/6 but on the nrl stats Tedesco is downgraded to 32 so it might be 415(c)/6

The Souths game was ruined by the refs letting the Dogs lie all over Souths in every, single tackle. Plus both teams were offside all night. The Storm game was virtually a direct opposite to that. Big 10 metres, plenty of flow. Don’t go reading too much into last night. Souths will be there when the whips are cracking. George and Tom played 25 minutes each. That won’t be happening in the games that matter. It’s Round 6.....don’t blow your load just yet. Plus, we FLOGGED you in R1 Laughing

Same here - he caught my eye with some good performances at the end of last season and I noted his name down and included him at the start of this year .... time to call it now I think.

I must say I'm pretty nervous wziting for tomorrow arvo after all the good captain options have gone 60 or above.  Weather not great either.  I called the weathermans bluff but I could be very wrong.

So far my 1 week Ponga vs Teddy decision is looking pretty good. Ideally Burns would be back next week so I don't have to blow my cash on grabbing Teddy before origin. Munster my only real disappointment so far after he looked off to a flyer.

Cleary a popular trade next week, with some of the pod's going belly up.

Just something random I noticed, Capewell had the highest tackle count for the Sharks easily with 42 on Thursday night.  Next highest was Gallen.

Yeah not the week to gamble in the end after Smith and fifita going big. Hopefully won’t burn us too badly

The knights need a win and I know for a fact that brown is under strict instruction to find a way to get KP the ball more often and in better spots so hopefully that shows this week and he will dummy to fitzgibbon and slide through to score

    Is there an anti-rain dance?
