Do you just still not trade them out as they are keepers and you're effectively "not making a loss until you sell them"
There's not a whole lot you can do about this. However, don't overlook the fact when other people trade Tedesco in, they will need to be using one or probably two trades to do so. That's two extra trades you have to do something else with.

Not much you can do to make up for the lost points/money, if you still think they are the gun you thought in preseason and want them final 17 you hold. Like you said you only lose the money when you sell, you hope they make those points up by the back end of season.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 21
Which option do you like. I have 1 trade left. Thanks in advance:
(a) Mahoney out - Tevaga in or
(b) Mahoney out - Matterson in or
(c) play Mahoney & save trade
Surely (a) or (b) will exceed Mahoney's score by 15-20 points.
Cheers.

I like (c). Mahoney still has some cash to make which should offset some of the points. I certainly wouldn't be trading in Tevaga for 1 week. Matterson I see finishing somewhere around 55 average but I don't think there is enough value in that trade to pull the trigger

Avoid Tevega. He’s my POD and you’ll kill him. I have no doubt he will be the starting lock soon.

I had more fun last week when I scored over 900.

There's no way Jazz will be the full time starting lock over Papali'i/Blair.
No idea why you would want to move Mahoney for him.

Holland then flip a coin to decide between Brown and Keighran. I mean I understand the doubts on Holland but if you've still got him, no point in wasting 440k in your EMG's.

I've currently got Garner and Mahoney.
Thoughts?
Garner and Lane is a very easy call

Irrelevant how much he costs if he's likely to score 25 again.

Then why not sell him or upgrade him? If you think he's going to score 25 again then he's only going to keep losing money.

He's likely getting sold next week. I expect all 3 (Holland, Keighran and Brown) will score similarly anyway.

Same for me, except I have Niukore instead of Holland.
Could hit 900, but 850 is probably more realistic. Chance they all score fairly poorly and I only end up with low 800s

I would have thought Mahoney gets 65+ minutes again this week, with Salmon on the bench rather than Smith. Can see him getting a decent score, already has a BE of 16. I have Mahoney and don't see him as a trade out unless something changes for the worse. Would expect him to grow into the role as most hookers do in their first season as the primary hooker. Would you regret the trade if he starts playing 80 minutes in the next few weeks, leading into round 12?
To me it is about opportunity cost, what else could you do with that $168k that you will use for the upgrade to Matterson, are there any real weaknesses or injuries you need to take care of this coming week. What else could you do with that trade later in the season.
