RWC Final

What a set up. First ever NZ vs Aus final at the world cup. Going to be a cracking game with both teams playing some great footy. In all fairness to Aussie though I can't see them getting a win unless the All Blacks screw up. It's the All Blacks to lose, they are just in a different class to everyone else at the moment

Ahhhh high jacking my RWC threads is it Beast? Haha going to be an absolute cracker and will come down to Pocock v Mccaw in the breakdown battle I reckon, only person who has slowed down Pocock was Warburton but we weren't decisive enough with the extra possession (and men) if the NZ forwards can clear the ruck quick enough they will win

There is no way he should have been suspended for it. An elbow to the head? Cmon, there was nothing in it at all, just incidental contact at best.

I might even stay up and watch this.  11 o'clock in Perth, unless I started yawning, which I normally do when watching Rugger at any time of the day or night...

Despite NZ dominance the past few years it's a little sad that their legacy will be tarnished by McCaws consistent cheating. He'd probably be considered a reasonable player in history otherwise. The majority of their victories have been overshadowed by his blatant disregard for the laws of rugby.

The ref has no idea whats forward and whats backwards. Misses a 5m forward pass to lead to 3 points, then backs it up calling a knock on backwards putting the Aussies under pressure and when they should have gotten a scrum for running into your own man he said keep going and they score a try. 10 points off 3 major stuff ups in the final 5 minutes of a half will kill off any game. The win loss stats when this guy refs the Aussies are dismal, not even worth getting up with this bloke in charge

It's good to see the referees are just as bad in rugby union. You could argue that we wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for the refs, and you could also argue that the result would have been different had the IRB had the balls to deny McCaw his fairy tale and the ref was aware of the knock on rule.
