Sort of already covered, but Storm have posted an update on their website. Smith should be fine.

"Smith didn't require any scans and instead received treatment over the weekend for a tendon irritation of his big toe.

Smith will return to training on Tuesday with his teammates as they prepare for the showdown with the Sharks."

He comes across as a sore loser. They were getting beat and rather than lead his team to defeat he effectively went to the sideline and took himself off with a stubbed toe.

I will admit it did somewhat appear that way too and did think that myself but it's probably unfair to think that of the great man.  Saying that how many times has he been on the end of a game when they have been whacked and there is nothing he could do.  Not often.

Cook & Fainu. You choose 1 of Cook or Smith as your premium captaincy option. It's the same when Smith & Farah used to be the 2 top hookers a few years ago & you couldn't afford both. Cook has usurped Smith now so Smith misses out.

I did that this year, started with Cook and Griffin, then sold Griffin for Mitch Rein, then Rein for CS9 in round 12

Ok,at the pointy end of the season now and with just 1 last trade left I’m effectively lost on what to do. Of course ideally you would save it for injuries but now I’m worried about talk of Isaako going back to the wing,Fainu possible suspension etc. If this eventuates then Fainu to Turbo seems my most likely option. Oh and that big lump James lost too much value for me to turn him to Taupau as well

Anyone care to have a look at my team?

I like Fainu to Turbo pending his court appearance. James is fine as 18th man imo.

How many weeks out until people burn their last trade?

With 1 trade you would think you would have to hold at least one more week.

Yeah you’re probably right wolf but the thought of Isaako not playing FB heading into H2H finals(or overall for that matter) scares the shit out of me. If he is named at FB I will probably hold

Hold your trade. Wait for team lists then have a think whether you really need to use it.
Your Faino ---> TTurbo trade makes sense if Fainu isn't named/withdraws before game-day and we know he's out for awhile.
You have enough backup there for the few weeks assuming nothing drastic happens and your last trade brings in a DPP WFB/CTR that can cover your current back 5.

I've still got three left. I reckon there's gonna be some injury/resting action in the last two weeks so I'm holding for now.

I have 2 but so tempted to use 1. Should resist and hold.

As per pic below, 2 trades left, 150k left to spend. Was hoping Latrell would have a couple of quiet game as he's the last guy to bring in but im just a bit short from Isaako to Latrell. Can do Cotric or Marsters but Latrell has been too good to ignore. Could do Fainu to Latrell if confirmed he's out for the season.

    Thoughts?

I started with Cook and Smith this year but stupidly traded out Smith after his sin bin/low score. I wasted two trades to get him back
