Tempted to not make any changes this week.

Players on top of the list to move out. Hiku (only playing because Ponga is out), Tapine & Alvaro.

Don't want to get rid of all three due to trade availability.

If Tapine is out, Ill bring in Arrow, Taupau or Farah

I read somewhere that Tapine will get 2 weeks regardless due to priors but that might have been speculation

Think he gets two weeks with early guilty plea. But Can only play if he fights and wins. There really was zero in it, he didn't even lift him. But wont be at all surprised if he gets time, he has form. The shoulder charge he got 2 weeks for was the softest suspension ive ever seen. nothing shocks me now with the inconsistencies in grading's

I didn't think there was much in that to be honest.

Ah yeah misread it that he would be taking the early guilty plea. Well I guess if it's going to be 2 win or lose he's better fighting it!

The grading variations are as bad as the refs

It seems like 90% of the time when someone has the kahunas to fight a charge they end up at least getting it downgraded. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more.

When you fight a charge and win, does that mean that those carry-over points get wiped?

@SoylentGreen - No because they are for a prior incident (in Tapine's case the hit on Duffy earlier in the season)

Lunch time at work and I'm messing around with pod vs pod (me vs Zora). Mainly to see if there is anything I can do.

My findings are not very positive and I think I'm 30-50 points down on a weekly basis (on average according to my spreadsheets - that are never wrong...). This doesn't take into account future trades/injuries but does cover off 18th man.

I need some more snidey 90 pointers like Luai. I'm tipping Fitzgibbon to be that player Wink

Zora is looking very strong. Solid 18 players + Mann, Lewis and Holland.

Not sure what his trade situation is like, but a few key injuries might see him in trouble.

Zora has been pretty quiet about how many trades he's got left(for good reason) but I think the only way anyone catches him is if he's out or almost out and there's a major injury toll late in the year.

He said something last week or the week before I think. If I was either of you I wouldn't be mentioning it, no need to help out the competition.

Nor should either of you not just in your top 2 battle but to hide it from those sitting behind you. One or two will likely have a number of trades, and would be valuable info for them to know where you two are at. Keep it to yourselves IMO.

Yeah I spilled the beans the other day. Well, I think I did anyway. I lost some brain cells over the weekend.

Its the taking part that counts anyway!!

I suppose I could always flick DCE seeing as I have ARey and Lewis?

Eh, well I missed it. Doesn't really bother me how many trades other people have as there's nothing I can do about that.
Thanks for your analysis of our teams. Nice to see I'm sitting pretty Very Happy Good luck to Fitzgibbon for you.

Not sure if I could be bothered playing silly buggers while Ponga is a red dot. I haven't done so yet this year but I don't want to put myself at a disadvantage. Don't think I could be bothered micromanaging that much, but I know that sketchy bloke coming 2nd will be doing it!

Don't disclose your plans @zorasdomain . Edit it and keep em guessing.
There's no rule anywhere that says everyone needs to be open about their team especially the bloke in the box seat.
