Not the best finsh to the round with Fonua and Thompson. Round 13 773 Rank 84th

Early doors looking at Watson > Olive & Thompson > Turbo

Was going to downgrade Griffin but with a 51 and his minustes looking pretty solid, fuck, I might just keep him and play him.  Levi did look solid with a couple of TA's but I think him coming off the bench and with their rotations between him Barnett and Griffin, I think he could keep 60 minutes and be a decent bench scorer or 18th man for the year out.

EDIT: However saying that, I need to find money from somewhere.

Just Barnett to Smith for me. Hoping the Eisenhuth trade in doesn't come back to bite me

Kinda hoping not to trade this week. I guess it will depend on Origin.

    Trades done. Round 14 team:

    Cook (c)
    Fifita Arrow
    Taumalolo Taupau Brown
    Matterson A.Reynolds
    Mitchell Fonua
    Ponga Tedesco TTurbo
    R: Smith McInnes Surgess Martin

Really just need SJ to come in for Surgess, but might wait until R16 to see what curveballs this Denver test brings. Would be pretty happy with this as a final 17. Might upgrade Fonua and Martin down the line too but not too bothered with that atm.

Looking at my team and potential trade ins, I'm thinking my strategy might be to try and sit on trades as much as I can until round 17 and then use all 4. Unless you are getting some Kiwi's and even with the Denver test putting question marks on the likes of SJ and Harris, or potential cows e.g. Olive, Brimson, there is too much uncertainty between now and round 17 to try and plan. We have 2 origins between then and anything can happen. I think trade ins from here will have to be strategic and lucky.

Cook might get injured (touchwood) or blues lose and decide to give McInnes a crack in game 3. Mitchell might not be ready for origin or Roberts goes down long term and Aitken you think is the first call up. Cotric might get in if blues lose and want to shake things up in game 3. Pure speculation but a lot can happen between now and then which could have a roll on effect for a lot of players that may be looking to come in for some teams. I guess Wednesday night will answer some questions, but I think round 17 planning is going to be near impossible to plan via textbook strategies. I really want to try and hold some trades and burn 4 in round 17, cause I can see a lot of setting up will end in tears.

don't even want to acknowledge Round 13, was always going to take a hit but those late pull-outs hurt, sub-500 but i only lost a couple hundred or so places to be sitting on exactly 1400, ins this week are easy, Cleary & Turbo, but who goes will have to wait, got Inglis, Havili & Kikau on the chopping block, pretty sure Havili is gone but the 2nd depends on what Seibold does with Inglis, fullback he stays and Kikau gets the flick, centre he goes.

What's with "Shakes Crushers" ruining our mojo at the top of the ladder?

He had a stacked round, so may burn the trades to get more in Round 17. He currently has 3 that week. In saying that Verbal only has 4.

Realistically Johnson, de Belin, Aitken, McInnes, Smith, Tohu, Mannering?

Are the main targets in that round that will be solid until the end of the season.

You thinking DeBelin will be dropped by game 3?

Milf could be a good pick up

No origin. No denver test. Plays 17. Scoring has been ok.

Not many halves fit the above criteria.

Think I'm going to go Milf over Cleary. The extra game and Cleary sharing everything with Maloney.

Hopefully the broncos pack rotation works itself out by R17 so I can see if TPJ is worth the trade in

Is it too late to bring in Rhyce Martin in? Cash out for Kikau about 150k and scoring nearly the same
