Cleary for the very final run home id be all over. Milf can average with the best of them but his floor has always bothered me

Matterson’s 3 low scores: 35, 39, 43 no doubt best floor scoring half, with decent ceiling too

Milford’s 3 low scores: 21, 31, 34 - not horrbile but he has another 35 on top of that, all of which below Mattersons worst performance.

I do like Milfs increased base this year, only 87 where his try has married with a shed load of TBs he gets when his game is on

Had Milf last year and always felt he got dudded in that category mind

Matterson's floor is better, but think Milf's floor has gone up a bit through the season when he's doing all the kicking. Very unlikely to post a sub-30 game, always a chance for an 80. Matterson possibly a better bet but Milf a bit cheaper and suits how I'm going to play the byes.

I've owned him all year and have been reasonably happy with him. His kick metres are way up from the last few years which means fewer of the super low scores he usually offers up each year, but he hasn't done nearly as many of the huge running linebreaking try plays that he has in the past either. I'll be keeping him all year barring injury simply by virtue of not having enough trades to justify it

Wouldn't be surprised if he is next off the rank as a replacement half for the Maroons though, should someone get injured

Spooked on both matterson (concussion) and Dce (hokko).. i would rather get cleary or, SJ.

Nathan brown, if named, is a risk. I dont realllyyy want surgess either.

Pretty much all of this, except I don't have Taupau, but he is really the only one that I don't have that I want this round. Matterson maybe, but Tupou back soon and Aubbs to the bench could be a concern.
I think I'll just make 2 trades to get Taupau. Should go big with no JTurbo.

Currently running Cody & DCE as halves. No point trading Cody out to Matterson this week, but next week will have a good lump of cash to upgrade Cody, Murray and Nicholls to Milf, Arrow and AN Other (the last trade would have to be the week after).

Cook, Crichton and Latrell all getting call-ups has fucked my planning quite a bit though. No doubt Milf (and Arrow) will play Origin 3...

As I've said, will probably bin DCE, who's less attractive with Hodko in the team, before second bye, preferably for SJ if he looks fit post Denver test or else for Cleary.

Can have this team to start the round:

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    Taumalolo Brown Martin
    Koroisau Reynolds
    Mitchell Dugan
    Tedesco Ponga Fonua
    R: Smith McInnes Matterson Surgess
    18th man: Murray

Only really needs the Turbo brothers to come in after origin finishes (probably for Martin and Fonua). Maybe Murray to SJ and Koro becomes 18th man.
But only 11 in for round 13 and having no Taupau for this round irks me so.

I'm ranked 26th atm with 12 playing with goey and Kenner are named guess I'm still in with a chance but have 9 trades left so will have to go hard on final bye for any chance of finishing near the top so injuries will determine where I finish

Sorry doods, missed a heap of pages and I assume this has probably been mentioned, possibly in some sort of detail, somewhere in the mix... but is there a clear winner in the Brimson/TMM race, or is it just a close your eyes and pick one type of situation? Just looking to cash out Lamb and can't really decide either way.

I think Brimson probably scores a bit better overall, but with TMM being so far beneath his starting price, is there a lot of action there to be had? Is he likely to keep that spot in the team?

At the moment I've gone with TMM for the extra $29K in the bank, but what's the smarter move here?

Origin not an issue either as I'm just in it for the H2H's so as nice as it will be to play TMM this week, it'll be just as nice to play Brimson in the next bye round. Wink

Quite happy if he plays game 2 and/or 3 Razz

No eels at all. Slightly interested in Alvaro as a place holder for a month.

This bye round is an absolute nightmare. Players only playing one game makes it very hard to trade out others when the same guys I bring in will miss 17. So far I have this available after grabbing TMM and Fitzgibbon

    Fifita, Surgess
    Murray, Fitzgibbon
    DCE, Arey
    Ponga
    Cogger, TMM

The only options for trade outs to grab other players are keepers(RFM, Smith, McCullough, Croker) or cows that havent peaked (Martin, Su'a, Brimson). Think I might just run as is for this week and go hard at round 17.

If you had to keep one of Havili, JFH, Kikau, RFM who would it be?

I’d say RFM the only keeper from that list. Havili is good for now but Hodgson may be back for 17 (with any luck!) Kikau is now over-achieving. No harm having him but would take an 80min gun season keeper for him now
