I would've thought people that got Cogger would've learnt their lesson rather than queuing up to get Brimson

On Brimson, my head says no but my balls gut says GO!

Also, I like 'Fire and Brimson' when I had this in my plans haha

Brimson was apparently the front runner to be Titans fullback this year before they signed Gordon.

Also, he'll get at least 2 weeks (but probably more) in the role. No way they chuck him in against Melbourne then dump him if he doesn't perform

If I keep Arrow (really undecided), I can turn Rein into Surgess. It means I miss out on LOLO.... for now.....

I sure have, not going near him. But the thing in his advantage over Coggar is his price.

How does he score significantly more than Elgey? Unless he has rock solid defence Taylor there doing most the kicking and being the dominant playmaker.

I know JFH has a BE of 38 and is a borderline keeper but he has only really been hitting around 48-50 bar one 59 performance when he made 50 tackles in RD 4. If he sticks around 45-50 he is set to only make another 45-72K (655K-682K) plus he is RD 17 player so misses RD 13. Tolo is going to keep making money and he plays RD 13 plus is a GUN. Thoughts?

I was going to trade JFH to Taupau until someone pointed out the bench woes for the Panthers this week and that convinced me JFH was a hold over Rein - who I traded instead. In all likelihood JFH becomes Lolo or a half next week. Holding Arrow because I got Surgess back this week so don't lose on that front. Next week might be a different story

fullbacks are generally decent tacklers? i hope he doesnt get steamrolled like elgey/cartwright.

His defence is certainly better than Elgey's. So i guess the expectation is less missed tackles. Probably less penalties too. Possibly a better running game.

One interesting point: Elgey is averaging 50 fantasy points in QLD Cup. Brimson is only 39.

    Option A:
    Thompson/Maloney > Brimson/Taumalolo

    Option B:
    Thompson/Maloney > Lamb/Surgess

Both cost me roughly the same.

Brimsons possibility of a dud is putting me off somewhat

Its more about the cash generated by downgrading to Brimson than the cash he will make.

He's just as likely to "drop" in cash and have a higher BE next week as any other option

Yes Barnett is in this week.
ive got barnett pencilled in as well, but he is a bit of an awkward one at second row. in 9 games 2016 he produced low scores of 28,31,37 but also highs of 58,75,80 (50avg overall).

hopefully has a few huge games to get the money moving especially in rnd 13

Arg. It looks like I'm max trading again this week.

Even after I promised I wouldn't - CScott in for CThompson. Lamb in for Goosie.

I suspect the farm animal trade is a bit of luxury, and may reverse, but Scott looks a bargain at 424k.
