By the end of the byes if you are ranked 100th it is probably too far away to win it.

Everyone's teams will be very similar by then. You may be able to overtake a whole bunch of people above you, but it would be nigh on impossible to overtake 99 strong teams in just 8 weeks.

Thats when crazy captain choices would come in I think.

So..... if I'm top 3500 at the end of the byes, do I still have a shot

I still expect to finish well outside the top 1000

The wheels will fall off through byes/origin plus I'll likely run out of trades. I'll need to keep up my run of luck to be in with a shot. We're only in round 10!

Wonder if Murray will actually start. The whisper is that Douehi is in the 17. Perhaps its laziness as is typical of these NRL coaches. Coach says "Sam back in, no other changes". NRL staffer writes Sam in at 13 and everyone else ends up pushed back a number. Argh im probably dreaming.

It is just a sea of '1sts' across my leagues so they start to blend in a bit

Will be doing same trades but going AJ as I already went Martin last week @wolfking hopefully AJ becomes a slow burner.
