If anyone listens to Gus's weekly podcast reading between the lines it sounds like Kikau has a 17 spot locked down. Wrapped his improvement coming back from injury in 2016 and world cup performance in 2017. May not get the starting spot but definitely here to stay

Why are trades so hard this week. Guess it's the range of possibilities.

That is what makes it tough, the fact that you can put a guy on the interchange bench and trade in a player from any position for him opens up so much possibilities.

Teddy v Tigers didn't really work out for those that captained him, but id have to say Ponga is mighty tempting.

Why is Smith in your team??

Seems like a trade in which you can wait and see a week. The gap between them (price wise) shouldn't change to much plus u get another look at both players.

unless u feel like you need to beef up your 17 for this week

Honestly, it is super difficult. No one wants to necessarily trade their guns, or look like they are losing in the trade. Usually Mid-Tier and Lower-Tier players are easier to move. I would look at 2 for 2 trades. With a slight upside on each side. Also look at people who have low value after Round 1, but high potential. I.e. Cameron Murray before Round 2 teamlists were announced. Would have been a solid pick up.
Yeah, this. Plus i personally think laying your thoughts out with someone can be helpful. Not just for them, but also it helps you yourself get some perspective around how you are valuing players. Take my draft team this year, I've got phuck at WFB/CTR and Sutton in the halves as two problems I'd like to fix, but I think I've got some pretty good depth in my forwards. I'm open about that when i put forward a trade and i try for 2 or 3 (or even 4) player trades as it lets me do something like "lose/downgrade" two forwards in order to get an upgrade in the backs. That said... L2 is really like getting blood out of a stone.

    @Norco
I have enough to do Katoa to Thompson and Nichols to Murray. Im glad you brought it up because while my first trade is a lock i was dubious about the Murray trade. Its going to be about 20k-30k cheaper next week. I am tempted to do Nichols to Doohicki because it makes me 30k as well as whatever Doohiki makes. Can always trade Havili to Murray next week.

The 3 game average at the moment is calculated using their original BE x 2 + last weeks score. (this appears to be what Milch was doing so i've continued this way).

Maybe list player alphabetically so it's easier to find the player I'm after.
    Stellar stuff from MTB.
    Hopefully Fifi is looking.

@my tv broke Mate the Site looks great just continuing to kick goals

I found myself using it during games to see what my players are on Fantasy wise instead of the NRL site. With all the extras you have added during the week its like a one stop shop.

Thanks heaps for all the effort

It does that if you sort by names, although it does it by first names. Surely it's easier just to use the search function for that though?

Good to see Steve Turner devoting a seemingly serious 20 seconds of the weekly fantasy video to Lewis Brown being on the outer at Manly and being a sell. wtf.

Reading from below - I thought they looked into the 5-8 'reserve' spots first and then, if there's none there, they go to the 1-4 Interchange and a replacement moves up to cover them.

    7. INTERCHANGE PLAYERS
Each week you should select 4 Interchange Players. These 4 Interchange Players are designated by priority-order numbers 1 to 4 on your Reserves Bench.

All 4 Interchange Players’ scores count towards your Fantasy total score for that round, subject to potential automatic adjustments for Emergencies.

    8. EMERGENCY PLAYERS
These are players whose priority-order is numbered 5 to 8 on your Reserves Bench.

A player from your Starting 17 who doesn't take the field will be replaced by a player from your Reserves Bench based on the rules for applying auto-emergencies.

If a member of your starting 17 (13 on field and 4 interchange players) do not play in any given round an Emergency will be automatically assigned. This Emergency’s score will be automatically added to the total points scored by a team in any given round. The assigned Emergency will be the highest-numbered scoring player from the Reserves Bench who receives a score for the round and matches the position of the non-playing Starting 13 player. If this auto-emergency player is listed within the Interchange Players they will be replaced as an Interchange Player by the highest-ranked eligible Emergency not currently in the Scoring 17. This process of automatic emergency substitution will continue as described until there are no more eligible emergency replacement players. If no player from the Reserves is eligible to substitute for a non-playing member of the Scoring 17 no emergency substitution will be made. If the process of applying automatic emergencies results in fewer than 17 players scoring points a team’s total score for that round will be the aggregate total of only those players who have scored points.

..... hmmm, or are they calling all 1-8 'reserves' ..... or is it 1-4 'interchange' and 5-8 'reserves'? I've confused myself now Smile

Those with Niko are you selling or holding for now?
I’m thinking a trade to Williams might be a good for a cash grab or Moses for a straight swap

I think niko to Moses is really sideways, Donkeys were horrible and will only get better, without attacking stats which Niko is based on was always going to score poorly

I'm not so much against the cash grab for less scores though
