Sure thing, Kikau has $$$ to be made. I'm willing to trade a mid range to get him in, because he will make more. Katoa needs to go, I need a back up back and if I don't grab a Thompson/Isaako this week, they won't be worth it.

I'm thinking ditching a mid range cashy (Lodge, Arrow, Whitehead) to make money. Looking at it, I'm thinking down grading Whitehead could be worth it, considering I have 3 potential second row keepers anyway.

Assuming both Johnson and Ponga get big scores this weekend off the back of big round 1 scores and relatively low BE's (16 + 50) would their short term increases be as good as most cashcows until they reach a max price, saving you trades by buying them now?

Trying to work out in my head if I am better to get either of them now or look to generate more cash by trading cashcows and risking them being even more expensive in 3-4 weeks nullifying any cash generation...What is the general theory on this? Go early anticipating they continue to go up or hold off until later rounds?

I wouldn't think it's worth getting Doueihi in for Nicholls ATM, they will both make cash this round, I'd just hold off and see how they both perform this week and then make your call. Def get Thompson in for Katoa.

Can only get one of isaako/thompson unless I trade out hiku. If you had to pick one, who would you pick? I'm leaning towards isaako..

With Nicholls I'm probably keeping him another week or two maybe but probably more due to necessity putting fires out elsewhere.

I am thinking of the same trades as @Danseels. The way i see it, Nichols has a b/e of 8 and probably now only scores low 2s from the bench. So Doughy really only needs to score 8 points more to be better value. The risk is bringing him in early, but if Doughy scores a 50 and goes up 50k (+ the 30k made this week from the trade) then it is definitely worth jumping the gun and freeing up my trades for next week, where i could be plugging more holes.

Far out this Doughy guy must have some massive praise if you think he could score 50 on debut.. I mean it's not impossible or anything, but young halves generally get pushed aside in their first few games.

What concerns me with Croft is that in a high scoring game he never got any attacking stats plus his defense is suspect.

I get people want cash, but at the same time I'm seeing lots of knee-jerk reactions, mistakes that get made year after year.

People are trading out players who scored "bad" in round 1. It's round 1. WFB scores are so volatile, Sure Thompson scored good on the weekend, but what are you going to do if he scores 10 this week? It's definetely possible (Although so is 50 to be fair) Going to have a somewhat wasted trade on a player who isn't going to make nearly as much as you first thought.


Take the poster Blain for example.

He is looking at trading out Arrow/Whitehead/Lodge, based on 1 game. Let players find their feet, Most scores were down on the "regular" scores we see every year. Whitehead didn't play 80 at lock, Lodge had a bad first half, and not sure what happened with Arrow (Cant check scores right now)


Whitehead looking to play 2RF this week, maybe 80. Lodge will be better for the run.


Just seems like knee jerk reactions to get the player of the week in your teams so you dont get left out.

RE: Broncos line up. Remember Bennett is notorious for the last hour switch of positions. As stated previous it looks like Thaiday will come off the bench with TPJ starting. Also, may be worth looking at Isaacko if you don’t have him as we keep hearing about Boyd’s injuries and “he’s fine” but it is quite obvious he isn’t. Wouldn’t put it past Bennett to start with Boyd for defensive structures, and then take him off with Isaacko to FB, Kahu wing and Opacic CTR.

Yes. Failhub asked this said above 4 or 5. Mine is 7 and most up to date version for S6

Thompson had great stats outside try and looks like good job security with Cleary comments and everyone expecting Isaako gone when Bird back since before Rd 1 so I think you're leaning wrong

Based on FB comments besides my S6 individual S5, S7 and Galaxy 11 tablet users have reported same problem. Failhub replied today that they are looking into app issues relating to Samsung.
