I loaded up (50 bucks) on Ponga a couple of days ago, got $12 odds.. With no pearce he will pick up points every time the Knights win given how dodgy the Dally M's are, hopefully they don't fall in a heap.

Be interesting how Panthers go when Cleary comes back and how the halves juggle responsibility.

Panthers are 1.83 vs cowboys. Edwards the only new out due to injury. Books basing their cowboys odds on "well they've gotta turn it around soon, surely". Don't know that I can resist punting on Panthers here.. thoughts?

Looking at the market and taking the following 3 points into account the winner is Slater.

1. Imports aren't eligible
2. Sentimental value, don't call it a comeback, he's been here for years.
3. Smith isn't at his best, seems like he has something else on his mind. So more points for Slater

Malony for dally m and $1.83 for the panthers are both delicious.

Every time I start posting bets here they lose, but I'm taking the Souths line. Knights form has been fairly consistently mediocre, they struggled to get on top of manly last week, who were just shithouse. Souths off a loss, but prior form has been pretty good, I think they will bounce back and account for the Knights.

i had one of those weekends where you just quit punting for a couple of weeks. probably the worst in a couple of years. gave back all the progress i'd made this season.

to rub salt into wounds, there was no real upsets.. 7 out of 8 favourites won (8/8 if you count cowboys who actually came into evens before the game started).

Ponga earned another Dally M point despite Knights losing by 18.
