Nofo is a beast...he was playing injured for the most of last year, metres gained and tackle breaks, he will have a good year again

As for Teddy, who knows what he will do scoring wise, he was in every play at the Tigers last year and this year at the Rorters he doesn't need to get involved as much as he has others around him

With the hookers taking up 3 bench spots there are only 5 spots left to cover all the other positions.

I can understand the theory behind running with 3 or 4 hookers  but arn't you a bit worried that it may leave you short on injury/suspension cover for all the other positions in the team?

As someone with 4 hookers I definitely feel exposed for positional depth, but I also think one of Cook or Lichaa will be a definite keeper and both + the raiders hooker will make a bunch of money very quickly, so they're too hard to pass up. I definitely don't plan to keep 4 hookers in my team for the whole season though

    My thoughts on Teddy...
Tesdesco is one of those freak players who can make a 20+ point attacking play at any time of the game. There has been times where his fantasy score is rubbish until a freak play in the last 5 minutes of the game.
The way I see it... Teddy will definitely score more than 5 tries this season. As mentioned before on this thread, he is likely to receive more ball from high kicks as other teams try to release the pressure of a dominant Roosters side, which increases Teddy's run metres and opportunities to earn those Teddy TB points. I'll be starting with him in my side this year.

Yeah wouldn't keep four hookers all year if I did decide to get Cook as well

Fonua is likely to get a run. I'm assuming he'll be on one wing. I'm also assuming his fantasy scores will be nothing to write home about, and he'll make little cash, slowly

    8 bench spots.

    4 reserves of
    Cook
    Lichaa
    Garvey
    Cartwright

    4 emergencies of
    Croker
    A DPP CTR/WFB
A front rower (ideally with DPP)
Other, position depending on who TLT throws up as hood value. May even pick a non-player for loophole purposes.

May end up wanting another second rower, as there are a few tempting options there, in which case Lichaa probably gets the chop.
It's not like you are locked in to choices made now. Can redesign my team completely if circumstances dictate.

Lichaa needs to play 80 minutes otherwise it's 40/45 for him, still think he is very overrated

anybody got insight into mbye (558k 38.1avg) at fb? he would need to up his score to 45-50 to make it worthwhile.

i know he has good hands and speed which should give some attacking points in the red zone. just not sure how good he will be with the tbs coming out of his own half.

could be a bit of a dud like coote and flop into surrender tackles. a bit on an unknown at this stage

I think you summed it up nicely re good attacking the try line but a bit too small returning the football.

Thanks for the low down on Lichaa, he's made the bench. I've put my first team together, aiming for value over guns which has left it pretty gun lite tbh... Any suggestions or just delete lol

    Smith (c)
    Ese'ese Lodge
Crichton RFM Arrow (job security at risk now)
    Croft Croker
    Milne Kennar
    Teddy Nofo Ponga

    Nas Watson Lichaa Hiku/Gray
    Garvey B. Gray Cleeland Opacic

    176k

I have a feeling the TB are going to make a massive difference in this game.. Wondering whether to trim elsewhere to bring in Pearce or go Croft to Cronk to take advantage of the forced drop out. Very forward lite I know...

    HOK: CAM SMITH
FRF: MATT LODGE , REEGAN CAMPBELL-GILLARD
2RF: TOHU HARRIS, NATHAN BROWN, CAMERON MURRAY
    HLF: BRODIE CROFT, LACHLAN CROKER
    CTR: TAANE MILNE, PETA HIKU
WFB: GREG INGLIS, KAYLN PONGA, JAMES TEDESCO

    RESERVES:
DAMIEN COOK, MICHAEL LICHAA, JAMES FISHER-HARRIS, BRYCE CARTWRIGHT

    NPR:
RICHARD KENNAR, TOM WRIGHT, CRAIG GARVEY , VILIAME KIKAU

I quite like this team , thoughts though.

I think James Fisher-Harris might start round 1 could be a a decent pickup I think he could potentially be a 30-35 point scorer.

But if the minutes are shared 40/40 I think i'd pick up Garvey just a tackle monster

Hmmm - going with Nofo over Ted allows that little bit of extra cash to spend elsewhere.

    Thurston, Croker
    Aitken, Milne
    Nofo, Ponga, GI
