Any tips for the first "incident"?

We all know there's going to be someone doing something stupid: it's just a question of who, and whether we'll make it into the actual season before it happens.

I've got a feeling about Adam Blair being back over home. Also Pearce as well maybe.

Either that or someone on the coast will get done for coke. As is tradition.

I think it will be some sort of drama in the nations capital after the Raiders struggle early. Maybe Austin seeking a release back to the tigers.

On Channel 7 they keep making a coy reference at the end of the story to "police are investigating whether this is an isolated incident" Makes me wonder if it is a repeat offender who's previous indiscretions have been swept under the rug or the person making the complaint was the players partner.

That's just Ch 7 laying it on thick. They have the worst journalistic integrity of any of the FTA networks - which is no mean feat given the peanuts Ch 9 employ.

am i allowed to hope the player in question is innocent of this crime? or do i have to join the chorus of hoping that a woman was actually beaten, and by a particular 100+kg man, in order to satisfy some selfish sense of moral superioty over hoping that he's learned from his awful mistakes and can be rehabilitated into a fuctioning and contributive member of society?

Spoken whilst looking down on everyone elses moral superiority from his high horse. Would you like to point out exactly where anyone said that they hope a woman was beaten?

I don't think anybody was actually actively hoping someone has been assaulted.
