Munster to who? Can get anyone. Pearce/Cleary/DCE?

Melbourne are like a couple of games clear in 1st and are $1.15 favourites against the Knights next week.

If I was Bellamy, I'd rest him until the week after.

Cowboys don't have a half on the extended bench (other than Hampton, who presumably will be required for hooker rotation) - so its possible they may get an exemption to bring a half in if Morgan or TMM are deemed unfit to play.

If Munster is going to miss 2 or more weeks - should I burn my last trade on Munster - Teddy or Munster - Pearce?

Two important questions need answering first

Who's playing for you in his absence?
What's your depth like if you burn your last trade?

I reckon part of a deal behind the scenes, we'll let him go to you mid season but he can't play against us home and away

if that was the case then the cowboys would have known ahead of time that they'd need laybutt to play. interesting that he wasn't in the 21. and given that he wasn't, did they get pre-approval to bring him in? the NRL would had to have registered his contract and therefore be aware that he couldnt play this game, if such a clause did exist.

2 trades left and i'm not sure if there's a real need to trade Munster while i have Lolohea as the cover. I'm only losing roughly 10 points a round on last 5 game averages.

In regards your question, Stew rates Yates at the top of the list of venereal diseases, as you can't spell Yeast without Yates and the way Luke hangs around without offering anything really helpful-well he is very much like Thrush-just an irritating c=#t.

Dylan Walker is like the HIV, because you know in his early days he wreaked havoc, but since then he has been well contained.

Kurt Capewell is the Herpes-bobs up every now and then but you are never quite sure whereabouts.

With NuBrown-well Stew believes that is a separate set of diseases altogether. Much like his namesake Nathan Brown, both have copped it in the face of late and woken up an hour and a half later without any memory. A bit like Stew's ex-wife after a Rohypnol Martini. James Bond has nothing on Stew; Stew's conquests end up stirring in the morning and also very shaken.

    Stew hopes that helps.

Thank you, Stew. That actually helped a lot. It is actually the most well thought out answer I've ever been given on here, and Dylan Walker = HIV is the most accurate thing I've ever read on the internet.
For what it's worth, I think I will be choosing herpes this time.

You're a smart guy, Stew. Don't let anyone ever tell you you're not Smile

Hampton would be the obvious choice to fill in. Funny that he didn't even check the 21 before making a call.

If Hampton starts then they have nobody to spell Granville - who doesn't generally play 80.

Problem with 21 man teams is that they can't have coverage for every position, so if someone does go down injured, not necessarily going to be a replacement ready in the squad.

    this is team

    Smith McInnes
    Vaughan JBRom (Gurgess Tualau)
Gallen Surgess Crichton NBrown JDB Barnett
    Cleary DCE (Munster NuBrown)
    Leilua Scott Fui DWalker
    CWalker TTurbo Lolohea (RTS Abbey)

So currently have RTS, Munster as best players out of the squad - followed by Gurgess, Fui, DWalker as other options)

An injury to the front row is my biggest concern. No cash in the bank so if JBrom goes down my replacement options are limited.

Was meant to be using trades to fix that up but ended up burning them on SJ and Merrin instead, so now I have what I have.

Tedesco's recent scoring is a 10-15 point upgrade over Lolohea/RTS so I am starting to think it is worth the risk.

Worst case situation if I burn the trade is Vaughan goes down and I have to play gurgess for a loss of 30 points a week. Anyone else and I have OK cover

Most teams would have a 2nd rower or centre who you wouldnt dream of giving the keys for a full 80 but can play hooker for a 10min stint. Covering Granville for a 10-20min spell wont be a massive issue.

    hahahaha I remember Gramsy!

Nah there was a guy who actually worked for one of the papers. There was footage of him trying to get Maccas to JT after his release from the cells one morning in Brisbane.

I want to say his username started with s but I don't quite remember. Decent bloke too.

Your biggest concern like you said is in the front row and if you could use that last trade anywhere I'd recommend it being used there.

But from what you're saying you haven't got cash for any upgrades there. So I would keep the trade incase one of your gun forwards do go down.

You have RTS as an npr with Walker, Lolohea and Munster all interchangeable through half and wfb so you have that area covered fine imo.

I have $3k in the bank., so if Ilose JBrom my best bet is Josh McGuire - which opens up DPP swaps with NBrown to give a bit more flexibility.

Only 3 weeks left after this one though - its almost time to spend the trade and hope rather than wait for an injury that might never occur
