In the Wacko blog right now on the fox sports website, he is saying quite a bit that Crichton won't play 80. For instance;

oh yeah, forgot about crichton being banged up last week. may well get reduced mins. can't take that captain risk.

If Crichton is benched, I'm tempted to revert one of my Munster->DCE, or Semi-> Rapa trades and trade Crichton to Gal.

I haven't seen it / read the interview however apparently Madge has said Crichton will be benched tonight as he needs to work on his defense 
Surely it is because he has copped a few injuries of late.

Maybe Crichton coming off the bench will be Hess-esque. Come on nice and fresh against a tired defence, bust 10+ tackles and score a few meaties.

Exactly. It doesn't make sense. In rounds 20 and 21 he didn't even miss a tackle. He did miss 3 last round though. The only concerning stat is he missed 6 tackles verse the Cowboys (both games) however Souths won't be playing them again this season.wolfking wrote:

76, not too bad if he can still get 50-60 minutes. If that's Madge's reasoning he's seriously lost the plot.
So tempted to trade him if this is the case, who knows what will happen the next week. I might even keep him and bench him and play Slater/Dufty over him, then if he sucks use my last trade next week for Mannering or Gal. Screw you Madge, just bizarre!

I really want to biff Surgess for Vaughn or Papalii but being my last trade I want to keep it in case of a serious injury.

I'm a bit stuck and was hoping I could get some advice. Normally I can think things through myself but it's been a hectic day and the deadline is closing fast lol. My squad is as follows currently:
Smith (c) (King)
Fifita Vaughan
Gallen Surgess Crichton Mannering Taumalolo JDB
Pearce Nu Brown (Munster Laybutt)
TTrbo Scott (Fui SMat)
Tedesco Walker Edwards (TRD CMat)
2 trades, $87k bank
Do I just play Brown even though his hooker scores are average? Do I leave it up to chance of all the potential AEs (which will probably be Brown anyway)?
Or do I do a switcheroo and put Walker into half, and use a trade to bring in a nuffie CTR/WFB for say, CMat and play TTrbo at the back/Fui at CTR? I regret not having a DPP CTR/WFB cuz I wouldn't be stuck if I did
I'm loathe to use a trade for one week but it's a relatively important week in the H2H world. Anything I'm missing?
