Start season with Felise, Cotric and Moga (most will have done this). Cash out to Fui and Scott. Bring in CNK, Edwards and particularly Crichton early. Start season with Brailey or Pritchard and upgrade at right time.
Plenty of ways of making money while scoring points...you can afford to miss a few of them (I missed Ponga and Hess and still have a $10.2 team value) but obviously not all.

must've been a shocking round for the frontrunners, copped Captain Cam, his twin & Wapau and still jumped from 239th to 191st,
I'm travelling pretty well, haven't scored less that 900 in a non-big bye round since round 13, the injuries starting to pile up are a bit of a worry with 1 trade left, but i do have RTS, Scott, Fui & Nu in the back pocket, might not get monster scores from them if called upon, but they should keep the total going in the right direction.

Well those updates weren't anything to write home about... Lost the Eliminator H2H 
I hate that about fantasy at times... when things go sour in the final 2 games of the weekend

Over the next few rounds I might graph the average score of players from each game. Interested to see if players scores do actually decline as the weekend progresses. Sometimes it feels as though that is the case.

879 with Captain Cam and jumped from 29th to 27th. I don't actually know how many top players would have Smith actually. Anybody who traded him out would have got a decently healthy points boost but then again he would have been a very popular trade in for those that ran with Friend for the bye rounds.
Scores like Taupau and McInnes wouldn't hurt too much since at this stage most teams up the top would have bought the former as the gun FRF to have who finished his byes and McInnes as the premium 2nd gun HOK option to Smith.

On the radio I heard Surgess could be back for next week and Cam could be gone for the regular season. Is that correct / the latest?

Storm medical staff expect Cam gone for one week, possibly two at the most.

^Good news about Smith all things considered...
Well Ive survived 20 rounds with lazy-leilua and I can't handle it anymore. I want to make an upgrade to Turbo. It's a stiff upper lip trade with so few trades left and Surgess/Smith issues but that score of lazy-leilua on the weekend is taking the piss
