I agree with this. If NSW are looking for something that would replicate QLDs origin "grit", then look no further than JDB, Klemmer, JTrbo as part of your starting pack.

Completely agree with JDB and JTurbo should start in 13 but I thought Klemmer was one of the ones with a pea heart on Wednesday - didn't want to play from behind and didn't offer enough off the bench. I would say the dogs year is effecting him in origin because we know he can play a lot better than he has at that level.

Guth to ARey, then next week Friend to Smith. Run home with:

    CS9, AM9
    Fifita, Taupau (JBrom)
Mannering, Gal, Surgess, JDB, Crichton (Fui)
    SJ, ARey (Lolohea)
    TTrbo, Scott (Aubs, SMat)
    Munster, Edwards, Cody (Hayne)

One reserve plus depth from the ones in brackets. Will play Aubs in centres ahead of Scott as long as he's not actually playing in centres, and fiddle around with the backs depending on opposition. One trade left, 34th and just wanting to stay in top 100. Hoping depth mitigates lack of trades.

Trades this week are Walker and Fuimaono to Isaako and Mannering.

    Team looks like this.

    McInnes, Friend
    Vaughan, Fifita, Hoare, Fai
DeBelin, Burgess, Taumololo, Crichton, Mannering, Gallen
    Johnson, Cleary, May, Brimson
    Croker, Hayne, Nikora, Drew
    Edwards, RTS, Isaako, Munster, Abbey

$154k to do Friend to Smith next week then wait for it all to inevitably turn to shit.

Maumalo and Fus are ahead of CNK in the pecking order.
Those who are hoping one of them gets dropped for CNK - not gonna happen. Will only cover injuries to the backs.

    Cash him out.

I think Klemmer has been terrible tor the Dogs this year but was NSW's best forward.

Interesting to think how many NSW players should get in to the Australia team. Klemmer would probably be one, along with Cordner (who was playing injured and is still the best 2RF around) and maybe Fifita and JTrbo and that's it.

Slater; Holmes, Chambers, Boyd/Morgan, Gagai; Thurston/Munster, Cronk; Fifita, Smith, Napa, Cordner, Gillett, JTrbo; Munster/Morgan, Papalii, Klemmer, Hess

(Yes, I know Hess doesn't really deserve it but your bench second row at international level has to be a difference-maker and can't think of anyone else.)

Honestly, Luke Lewis is great this year, I'd pick him for the WC.

He has no hooker so he cant loophole with 17 only 16

He definitely wouldn't let anyone down, in fact would probably kill it, but can't see it happening.

Guessing Sua and Arrow come in. Benji would be out altogether I'd say.

What MS and vanish posted is correct. As long as her Captain's a second rower, looping is fine.

Having no playing hooker is what causes the AE to come into effect

Yeah, pardon what I wrote earlier too.  This is right.  If the C was a front rower or a back, it would use Marsters as an AE, but as long as the C is a second rower and of course the VC plays before Marsters and the C after Marsters or the same game, which works based on when SJ and Crichton plays.  Sorry about my post ealier pete saying otherwise.

I wasn't looking at him but this is mighty tempting.  Any chance he would keep a spot?  How long is Mead and Oates out for?

    Is this kid any good?
