Netts 500k that could upgrade 3 of my mid rangers that are remnants of bye planning into guns for the run home. Crichton's base stats aren't better than any other guns unless we go down the slippery path of including tries as his base stats.

He may well average nearly 80 going forward, but he could also average 50 odd without tries.

The 3 mid rangers would probably be Lord Dale/Musgrove/Tolman to Taupau/Lolo/Fifita.

I find this fascinating and not that bad of an idea IMO.  If you had 4 trades to spare and some depth, this is not as crazy as it sounds.  Let him get another price rise or two and bam, you've easily made 500K.  May even think about something like this myself in a couple of weeks.

Crichton won't keep posting the scores worthy of that price tag IMO.  That 59 against the Eels for expample included a length of the field try,  Not bad SI, not bad.  

I probably wouldn't have the balls to do it, but it's not crazy.
