Thanks for that, that's kind of what i was expecting, with Browns average probably being close enough to that since he started playing a different role and Graham likely to have been close too before his injury concerns. I quite like seasons where there are a number of high scoring players like that though, opens up a lot of options in teams.

And so-called "guns" James, Brown and Graham are averaging 49, 45, 45 (the last two are injury effected but even discounting that they're still under 50).

Meanwhile there are eight 2RFs (not including Taupau) averaging more than the third best FRF Vaughan.

I'll bet he's in for a very rough ride.

I'm pretty sure they broke up a few weeks ago, so it more seemed to coincide with his run of really good scores. Now he's lazy again.

Second tier FRFs James, Wallace, McGuire, Vaughan, Brown, Graham are much of a muchness and none of them are going to outscore the best 6 2rfs and best 2 hookers, or even this year the best 4 WFBs.

Prob going to bring in Bromwich for byes and just hold him as an NPR/19th man in case Fifi or Taupau pick up one week injuries or, more likely, bans. Even if JBrom keeos scoring 30-40 the others are only scoring 40-50 so whatever.

Agree with this although I'd even lump Taupau into the "other" category and go with Fifita + any 2 of the others.

Wouldnt bother burning a lot of trades changing the same 45-50 guys from one into the other

    Sideways or solid bye trades?

Johnson's not really a solid bye trade, as the only big bye week he plays is already gone. Still has 2 byes left to Lamb's 1. Obvious upgrade though, regardless of byes.

Slater to Munster I will probably be doing myself. Definitely sideways if not for the extra 2 (or more if rested) games Munster will play.

I'm a Vaughan owner so I'm hoping he'll bust out another huge score soon. Tolman has sucked the last few weeks but has potential to score similarly. If you're anything like me with my trade luck, as soon as you trade Tolman out he will score well again, just to kick you in the arse.
All 3 of my plodder FRFs scored in the 40s this week, so I'm currently of the opinion that they aren't worth wasting trades with, so I'm the wrong person to give advice on that trade.

Brailey scored a solid 49 in the last bye round and he scored 50 the last time sharks played the tigers. If you have another pending trade that brings in another bye round player, I'd wait a week before making this move.
Yates your only 3 games away from being rewarded with 2 bye rounds played. Shame to see you ditch him so close to the line

    Otherwise all very solid upgrades

This is the part most miss when bye planning. Trades start running out through the byes so only trade in players you are happy to hold. I wouldn't bring in a Gurgess, Sutton, JBrom etc for byes as I would want them out come round 19. Would rather sideways trade guns that have already played major bye rounds to those that haven't

Yates and JDB play the same amount of games from here till seasons end, I think I know who id rather have byes or no byes

Can't trust Brailey id rather he scored 30s all the time instead of 50,10,50,10.

These trades are geared towards my final team and bye points in rd15.

If anyone else has objections please let me know?

Geeze still about 400pts difference between first and 200th and 100pts between 1st and 10th. Pretrades I'll have 13 players this round vs 1st's 10 players. Hopefully everyone will gain some good ground this weekend.

I think if you're chasing Taupau is the man to bring in. He's going to be 1 of my trades this week even though he doesn't play. I'll have to do my sums though. I'm still not sold on Vaughan.

Usually if they're not in the 17 they're released to their clubs.

Meanwhile, the website as well as the app is currently borked.

    *edit* Website back, App not.
