Am I nuts for still persisting with Latrell Mitchell? He could make his BE of 50 against the knights this week and being hooked could spur him into some better workload and effort. I just really like watching the kid play (though he can be pretty lazy at times), and he has great byes to boot.
I do have Smat and Idris in the centres who could cover well enough.

Am I being sentimental or just plain mental?

Im not a fan of Chambers. Everyone talks about Gallen, Thaiday, Smith etc being grubs but imo he's up there with this lot. Just gets away with much more because he's a backline player.

Thanks for the info Winny, my haphazard, bold and gut feeling frading has got me to 184 rank thus far... but no doubt it cant go on forever !
If i opt away from Sutton, theres some nice cashing out and stuffing away that can be done this week.

I don't wanna talk you out of a gut feel, but his name sounds alarm bells with regard to injury to me.

After looking at his stats, I don't think his byes will make up for the scores you can probably expect from him and at 417k, you're passing over Whitehead, Bodene, JWallace if you don't have them already.

Merrin and Frizell (injury affected 17 and I think his 20 odd was injury affected too) are plummeting in price too.

Not to mention Ryan James also down to 458k.. sometimes I miss these players because they're in my shit team.

Can I squeeze 1 more round out of Brailey? With McInnes having a BE of 70 he will surely be cheaper next week. On that note, are people going with McInnes or McCullough?

No you're not. Mitchell has poor base stats so when the Roosters play bad his scores suffer but when they're on top he scores well. Just be prepared to ride the low scores.

Updated to 915 points & rank improved to 655 overall.
Based on my policy of 1 trade per round until round 12 my trade will be:
Lamb out - Frawley in (leaves 129k bank)

    Smith, Cook
    Fifita, Wallace, F. Kaufusi (Yates)
JDB, Surgess, McGuire, Hess, CHN (Winterstein)
    SJ, Frawley (Jacks, Field)
    Idris, Cotric (Talakai, Kelly)
Gutherson, RTS, Ponga (Abbey, R. Jennings)

I was 11k short of going Kelly to Leilua. If CHN isn't named in the 17 I might do Yates to Crichton via McGuire.

Surely it is now time for Seggy to start over Brailey. It will be great for us who can't afford Macca / McInness upgrade. Straight swap. How good is that.

Cheers lad. I'll update it after lunch some time. Will also give me time to think of a few more, just listed all of the above off the top of my head.

Stampling and Horocious may need a special place in there as well.

A mate somehow managed the word 'trumpling' the other day. After I'd finished hammering him he revealed he was trying to say trampling but his brain was saying stumbling. I tried to explain Kimmorleyisms to him, but he doesn't do sport, so it was lost on him.
