Ah it was you Pacey. I thought it was but I didn't say incase it wasn't.

I don't think he is that adventurous but if Hoppa was out for the year I reckon he'd give it a crack. I think he starts from the bench then eventually swaps to the starting role. This all would have been easier last year when Lichaa was rubbish but he's found some form and is looking dangerous. Good headache to have I guess

If Farah long term, any merit in going Macca - Cook if Niko appears come TLT?

I will be trading in Surgess this week to complement my 2RF of JDB, Mannering and ET. You have all been warned.

    First season on NFF, only posted pre season so far but read rigorously and feel like I know you guys albeit from the shadows Razz   This is my team now;

    Smith, Brailey
    McGuire, JWH, AFB, Faufusi
Bodene, Mannering, JDB, CHN, Hess, Yates
    Guth, SJ, Elgey, Jacks
    SMat, Idris, Kelly, Moga
    Slater, RTS, Cotric, Suli, Phythian

    $21k ITB.

Got shafted with Bodene last week but oh well hopefully only one week of 20.  Thinking this week Suli to Frawley via Guth if he's named and Brails to Cook pending Farah woes.  Thoughts?

If Des is likely to make any team changes to accommodate Frawley it would have to be Brenko to wing, Mbye to Centre and Montoya back to reserve grade. They're not going to drop Lichaa. Despite his pretty average service the Dogs have invested too much in him to admit he's failing and look like they're caving in to the frenzy of social media calling for Lichaa to be canned.

Just because Niko might be on the bench doesn't mean Macca can't and won't still play 80. Look at Souths running with two hookers on the field at the same time. IMO it would an extremely silly move to trade out Macca. Just my 2 cents...

I know that, would give a week to see the rotation

but Macca - Cook and Elgey to Norman would be the trades

That's 10-15 more points a week, If Macca drops minutes its 25+ points a week extra

Macca and niko have been on the field at the same timw before. I suspect arrow gets dropped but thats a hard call. He is already super reliable. Hed play 60+ mins right now at a fair few teams.

    Welcome

Looks like you are on the right track with that team...
Frawley and Cook could be the Fantasy Flavour of the week...
I like the idea of moving Guth to the WFB, that will give you a bit more depth in that position... Guth being more consistent than Cotric at the moment

He did play 80mins, and I think that will be the case most weeks. I expect him to be a bit more up and down than Smith. But on a good week he can punch out a big score.

Raiders did it with Hodgo as well most of last season and depending on where they push the primary hooker it can have pretty much no impact on the fantasy scoring. Not sure if this is something broncos would do though, did they do it last year? Can't see why Old man Bennett changes from what he's gone with in the past.  I'd be hesitant to trade just because Niko appears in the 17 though.

gurgess back this round after that elbow.

still two more before hunt comes back, so talakai better score a try this week.

if the cook news is false. brailey to kpritch might be on the cards for those planning for byes this early. not ideal, but beggars cant be choosers Wink

I'm not sure what I'll do this week, might give Talakai his marching orders, doesn't fit the new fun to watch ethos. On the other hand I really want to bring in a proper Gun, so that might dictate my moves more.
