Hindsight is a wonderful thing mate.  There's really no way anyone would realistically use a trade in bringing him in knowing he was only going to be there for this one game.  Can't knock yourself for that.  Saying that, he should hold his spot for sure, and would be a perfect Elgey downgrade next week.

I was going to using him as a cashout for Elgey so I could afford to upgrade Lamb to Cleary. Was going back and forth about it all week but in the end decided to give Lamb one last crack

No nothings been agreed to but there's an offer there and they are expecting a response within the month from what I understand

Only way I could see Frawley keeping a spot realistically is Mbye to centres and J-Moz to wing which he might be too slow for. Dumping Lichaa is probably wishful thinking for Dogs fans, he probably deserves it but they invested too much in him to demote him.

Who has the better job security out of Talakai and Jennings, I understand Hymen will be back soon but iirc Talakai played left edge before Hymen was injured?

Both probably as good as each other. Its whoever has the worse game before Hymen comes back probably. Talakai was dropped after just one game so feels like Burns Gennings could be dropped at anytime too

Anyone else in the position where none of their playing 17 play until Saturday? I watch every game I can anyway for the love of it and well lack of better things to do. Still with no fantasy players it just feels like something's missing.

Fantasy gives me more of a headache than it should but it makes you invest in the game of Rugby League like never before.

Gonna commit to offloading Rennings, not much cash left in him anyway.

If everything goes to plan, aka everyone hits their averages and no one plays silly buggers, I should be able to upgrade Suli to either Croker or Aubs. Gives me a back 5 of:

    TTurbo, Croker/Aubs
    Tedesco, Slater, RTS

Ive had a mancrush on Croker for like 5 years now, which is the only reason he gets a look in every year but if Aubs stays out of the CTRs he's gotta be worth it.

    I dunno though.

Lamb to Frawley pregame right here.  Played him as well.
Could see more game time whether it be now or down the line, just be hard for mbye's salary to not be in the forefront of the dogs decision makers. Lichaa looks lost out their. What a turnaround at the sharks after being so disappointed we lost him. Now we have Brailey looking great and Segz on board.

Yep, that's me too - I had Abbey as an NPR which made it more fun but since starting Fantasy this year I've never looked forward to games so much! Excellent fun.

I wouldn't say no way. The Dogs halves have been an issue ever since Hodkinson departed. Mbye and Reynolds does not work, Mbye looked much better when he was a centre, the benefits of having a half with a decent kicking game were so obvious in that game that they're hard to ignore.

I don't think it will happen but they definitely need to be giving it some consideration because the season was going nowhere fast before last night.

Would we say Slater is a must have at his price?

Depends how you view him? If he averages 35 he will make probably another 100,00 but you will need to trade him back out further down the road so probably not worth it for 2 trades. If you think he will average more get him in
