I'm disappointed I don't have it. Could have been bigger if they gave him the ball a bit more, ran some committed decoys and a few times no one manned up on him, like they knew he wasn't getting it. Very close to a try too.

Ponga looked very dangerous too, looked to get involved and seemed to have a good connection with the other ball players, not like Abbey.

New and improved, or rogue performance?

Sam Hoare scored in lin with most of his previous appearances. I think those of us (like me) who traded him in have fallen for the "PPM King" trap

I think most of them were against Sirro, so potentially it was a one off.

Centres of Kelly and jennings really let me down this week, of they had both scored the normal 35 to 40 I would have been sitting on 700 with 4 to play including gal...

It's sounds like you're still going to get a great score.

Can't believe I put last reserve on Hoare. Missed out on a whole 3pts not leaving on Sironen Laughing

Didn't see game but heard Koro might get suspended for spear tackle? Was planning on selling to Jacks anyway so will make decision easier

Word is that Feki drops out for Holmes. Hopefully Capewell can put up a mid 30's score

Why not trade in whoever it is that appears next week who can outscore Ponga's disappointing 2nd game

I bought in Ponga this week for the same reason I started the season with Suli. They have both been signed to big contact deals with hardly any Nrl experience, clubs must have a lot of faith these kids are going to be superstars.

I think the chance Ponga bangs out a 40 this week is lot higher than the other rubbish wfb everyone snapped up this week.

I'm taking a chance coote goes down again or is out a bit longer than listed. Who knows, he may replace bowen on wing once coote back.

Happy with the 49, i was only banking on him scoring 40 with a big score every third game when he scores. As you said there were a few times he would of scored if they had not of used him as a decoy when he was 1 on 1 close to line. Cowboys had their blinkers on, thurston did it at least once as well.

But seeing he was pushed out wide and still scored decent, pretty happy with the trade.

Man, what's got into the water this week???

I think a lot of us with Moga had to play him so his 16 is a shared pain. Was thinking 730 might be par, but could be a little under that with a lot of us having a couple of wingers to come in our numbers today.

Ponga actually looked like scoring a shit tonne more though. The question mark is does he have a place in a fortnight? If he does it is probably on the wing as well.

Was at a bucks party all day yesterday and didn't even look at the scores - this has to be one of the worst weeks of fantasy I've had. Abbey and TRD really not looking like the right choices (though at least TRD has shown he can score better). Got 400k in the bank - need to make some improvements fast.

I debated using my first trades on Ponga even over Abbey but I'm playing risk averse this season. Now I've used 2 trades on Abbey and Hoare who both could be gone while Ponga remains

He definitely lifted but no real intent and O'Neill (or was it Linnett?) kind of cartwheeled a bit sideways as well instead of straight up and down-definitely dangerous and above the horizontal though so probably cops a week? Don't really understand the intricacies of the Judiciary.

This week a lot of coaches have had to do an NPR or are down to 20 players from 25 due to injury, being dropped, whatever.

What happens in 2 weeks if Ponga doesn't get named again and you're one of the blokes who is down to 20 with more to lose. Abey had all the ingredients but didn't deliver. He got snubbed for converting duties which is annoying but I'd hate to say he won't get 25+ the following week due to a weak debut. I'll be playing him again next week (and probably the week after).

Hopefully Cotric gets a decent score and RTS back so I can run them at WFB with Guth and bench Abbey
