Fox sports saying Fensom might start at lock. Hess might stay a bench player if that's the case.

I can go Talakai to Hess in a single trade which moves SMat down, which makes things stronger. I'm tempted to keep Carty if he plays this week so he can keep fucking me. You know he's going to.

Why did Hess play so many minutes this week?

Never trade a gun. Isn't CS9 score this week enough to remind you? Surgess BE 64 not that high

Indeed. Surgess might be scoring lower than expectations, but he'll still doing well. He won't drop that much more cash and he will put up some big scores at some point.
Plus he's one of the best forwards for byes so you'll want him around then.

Winterstein only played 12 minutes - Hess came on as direct replacement (but played a bit more of a forward role)

Scott off early and winterstein? Forced rotation?

Don't remember anyone else going off.

Injuries all over the place for the cows

I'm sure Lowe was playing centre once Winterstein got injured which put Hess in his spot

Having some cash and a spare trade sure does screw up the brain. Despite my earlier post about waiting until Rd 5-6 to make the tough decisions on cows.. A trade out of Hayne to Jennings or cheaper gives me just enough to jump early from Siro to Wallace (or Hess, but Wallace looks more secure).

Siro should make another 50k or so? Preseason I figured he'd crack a 35 average easy.. Wouldn't be surprised if he managed 40 though.. Wallace could make another 100k+ if he can maintain a 50 odd average?

I feel like common sense is telling me to just make the Hayne trade and wait it out with Siro, even if it costs an extra trade and cash later for a more definitive upgrade.

Week 6 Me is saying I'm a fucking idiot for sticking with Siro when I had the chance to get Wallace Rip

So that Fensom news puts a dampener on Hess trade but surely he'll do enough next 3-4 weeks to make 80k? then you nearly at a fallen gun a la Brom Whitehead

At the rate he's loosing cash, Whitehead might be under $300K by the time Croker returns...

do not make that surgess trade. You will regret that 100%.

That's crazier then the Corey Parker trade people were making 2 years ago

Normally i would agree with you. I picked surgess as a season keeper and i will burn 2 trades to get him back in but i need the extra money to upgrade taylor to johnson.

His BE isn't that bad but when you look at Hess's BE, there is money to be made. Plus with the injuries to the cowboys, he should be playing extra mins.

This is my team currently with theses trades

    Smith / Brailey (R)
    McGuire / Wallace / Kaufusi (R) / Yates
    JDB / Hess / ET / S.Mat (R) / Siro (R) / Stoen
    Johnson / Lamb / Elgey / Jacks
    Walker / Kelly / Idris / Talakai
    Homes / Suli / RTS / Hayne / Cotric.

    $117k remaining salary.

Unless you can see another way of getting hess and johnson in ?

Sironen made more cash that Wallace this week.. I think you definitely worth holding off on that trade for now.

My thoughts exactly but we both know he will score 90 this week if we trade and a 15 if we hold. His injury sure took the focus of his off field issues.....hmmm

Exactly, Milford starved him. He ended up on the other side of the field twice from memory looking for a hit up.
