Damn, despite winning the toss Ozzies are in big trouble...

OZ spinners just not good enough aye!

On another note, great test win by Bangladesh away from home in Sri Lanka.

I've bagged Smarsh through out this series, but all is almost forgiven if he helps save this test.
(he'll get out within 10 minutes of me posting this no doubt)

2 impressive series saving innings my Marsh and Handscomb. India will be gutted.

Sets up a great 4th test. Didn't hear too many retractions from the media about their assessment of the pitch

It's been a long time since we batted like that on day 5 of a test. Great stuff!

Do India roll out another flat pitch or a result pitch given they need a win to regain the trophy? Big score from Warner is well overdue but not sure if he's capable of it in these conditions..

Warner's in a patch and I don't see him turning it around this tour. As for the pitch I think they will go for a crumbly spinner. Our spinners are't as good as theirs so f we do win the toss they are still a chance, like this last game.

Like most of Australia, I was expecting us to be 3-0 down by now, or maybe 2-0 if there was unseasonable rain for a week at one of the locations, so it's already been a great tour as far as I'm concerned.

Apparently the weather will be cooler in the location for the last test, so perhaps not as dusty. Hopefully Smith calls correctly and bats as long as possible. I'd take a draw (which would retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy) so play it like you're the host of the Sheffield Shield and if you win the toss bat until about lunch on day 3 if you can.

the renshaw drops could be game changing, can't believe he dropped that second one

feel like we're gonna need a lead of at least 250+ to have a chance.

SMarsh should never be in an Ozzie team that Usman isn't in ever again.
The continued selection this way has had a major influence on this series IMHO.

The so called Indian Specialist will end the series with an average of 18.87. In 17 of his 42 test innings (over 40%) he has been dismissed for single figures. As bad as Warner goes overseas, his overseas average is still higher than Marsh's career average. Meanwhile a guy who lifted his average from 25.13 when he regained his spot in the test team in 2015 to 47.94 now (averaging 64.24 in the process during that period), has had to sit in the dressing room behind him.

It has been said that Marsh provides team unity it the dressing room, it's just about his performance on the field. This is why he keeps getting picked. May be Uzzie the Muzzie isn't a team player or the other players don't like that he doesn't drink beer or wear the sponsors logo.

Fuck I've enjoyed this series, both teams making complete arses out of them selves! Some of the biggest knobs in world sport on show. Crickets been pretty entertaining too.

Maybe. Though perhaps the selectors should pick Carl Barron if that's their reasoning. I best he'd keep the dressing room in stiches and moral would be great.
