If everyone agrees we could change it to 3 hours per pick between 8am and 8pm? That way you can still make picks outside that time if it is your turn but the clock wouldn't run donw

Or you could make a tactical move such as quicksand and hoard hookers and force those without a quality hooker to trade so they have a decent point scorer in that position.

Something i didn't really think about before, but should have - how the "League as a whole" value a player. For example, I don't rate Hayne as high as the majority on here (I'll definitely grab him for NRL fantasy for cash, but for a draft, I'm just no convinced he will average out as a gun), i should therefore have picked him up because people would be more willing to trade, and i could grab someone others see less valuable (but i see as better or equal) while using their valuation against them to pick up an extra.

Also, looking at that draft, my money is on The Secret Weapons, whoever that is. Rapa, Smith, Friz, Kata. Stop the fight ref

Its not just that. People also overvalue what they already have.

eg you might think Merrin and De Belin are equally good fantasy players and pre-draft not care which one you get. But once you've picked one of them, he'll suddenly become the better player in your eyes.

So even people can propose trades which you might have though acceptable pre-draft, but once it involves giving up something you own, you become a lot more reluctant.

    JDB > Merrin.

I may or may not be saying this just because I picked him in the draft

With the RFA, we definitely agreed last year that it should be reverse draft order.

I did something like this when chosing Fifita. Everyone has him number 2 but I consider him on par with a few other players. If I could get one of those players + any upgrade somewhere else its an easy choice

I'd take Merrin over JDB, think it was a good example for that reason.

My Ultimate team is starting to look a whole lot like my NRL Fantasy team scratch

Especially with Idris and SMat in my CTRs.

SMat was my next pick, didn't think many would be into him for Ultimate... Should've known better with a Panda lurking! Now time to adjust a thought process...

So it's only L2 that had no interest in Macca
