Shouldn't he be helping mentoring the young team, even if he is injured he can use the weekend to talk to some of the young guys coming through?

Next year we should only pick players who have under 25 games of NRL experience, I know SJ is 'injured' and Kata has a 'virus' and it in no way coincides with Kearny mentioning SJ would play a 'reduced' role this year before the tourney even began

Yeah he will have Eddie looking over his shoulder this season. More importantly its reassuring given that I can't see both BJ and Croker being snubbed by NSW this year.

As for the draft, If you wanted to go down that route, maybe you could put some rules on the draft teams similar to what the NRL does for the actual teams. You could split the players into tiers or something and limit the number you can get from each tier.

My only hope was Field going bananas and netting a Hatty or 4 but he doesn't even suit up for the last game
