Fair call mate. I was just basing it on what the police do in NZ. In this situation he would of been arrested straight away. This is not really a funny story but my mate & his missus were drinking one night & got into a non violent row. Anyway she went to sleep fell out of her bed & hit her head on the sideboard which left a mark. To get him back for the fight she rang the police alleging assault. The police turn up & see the graze & arrest him on the spot. This was Friday night/Saturday morning so he spent the whole weekend in the cells for court on Monday.

Very difficult to say without knowing what his gf said in her statement.
You don't need a lot to get an AVO, but a bit more evidence is needed to charge.
Either way, apart from Brett Stewart, I think everyone else that's been charged has been allowed to play until found guilty in court.

Domestic violence is an extremely serious issue that should never be joked about but a part of me wants to make a Dave Taylor joke that she fell out of bed...

I didn't mean that he'd miss his game but just that he could get arrested.

Or found innocent in SKD's case.

He obviously wasn't laughing then but after 3-4 years it's a bit of a group joke with all my mates. Even he can see the funny side of it.

Fuck this whole Semi situation. At least the Tigers play the same day so it isn't like I have to decide now whether to bring in Teddy

Will Bowen play big minutes? Tossing up whether to play him which would allow me to delay my Tedesco purchase until after his bye. ( i am playing H2H only )

After winning my H2H league with a record of 10-0-1 hehe, all of these shenanigans and injuries is threatening a monumental derailment haha

He'll line up at centre so he'll play 80 & I would play him & defer the Tedesco purchase.

Javid Bowen is a centre. If he plays it will be for 80 minutes.

Tedesco's BE is below his average, so you may as well bring him in now, he's not likely to get much cheaper. Especially if you are playing H2H only and don't really care if he gets picked for origin or not.

Bowen is likely to make a bit of cash if he plays this week - but Tedesco will start regaining money too, so its not going to be a big advantage holding him

Is J-Trbo a sell. I'm fine turning my 17 & if he continues to get limited minutes I'd much rather employ an 80 minute player.

Well I'd wait until he plays at least one or two more games with reduced minutes before making a call on that. If Barrett decides not to play him for 80 anymore then yeah he's a sell but would wait and see for now.

If you have the trades handy then there are a few good upgrade options but if you are slim on trades then he isn't someone I'd be looking at upgrading this early

No cash is always an issue once you get to this end of the season. Forces you to make two trades just for an upgrade
