With Copley's injury-proneness and Tupou's general crappiness though I wouldn't be surprised to see Manu slot in the backline and become an AE risk down the track but that's all if's and but's. You want a bottom priced cash-out for 2 bye rounds he's your man

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 40
Joseph Manu will likely play out the last 2 bye rounds because well the Roosters don't really have any option in the backline left. They stupidly let Elliott go, Fergo's in Origin and Joe Burgess turned out to be a complete dud of a purchase so thus he'll keep his spot.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 40
Gents, who's your captain if you have these guys in your team ?
Jbrom
JTurbo
Surgess
C Norman
SJ
Munster
I currently got SJ as C and Surgess as VC but having commitment issues.
Thinking JTurbo should be safe for 80 minutes this week and JBrom's minutes (won't be rested after storm murder the opposition 40 to 0 and hes been named as co-captain) so now I have no idea lol.
What are your thoughts ?

Maumalo? - is replacing Vatuvei. Will only be there as long as the Beast is on the sidelines which won't be long.
Talakai? - a bit of an unknown but could hold a first grade spot for a bit?
Manu? - no idea about this kid
Hurrell? old in-and-out-burger! No one knows which weeks he'll play and which he won't. Except he won't play this week.
French - probably the best bet and likely could hold a first grade spot.
if you want to make the most of the bye rounds 15 and 18 then you want an eels or rooster player. cheapies from that bunch are copley, french, jmanu and toutai to an extent. I reckon if you have cash to burn then splash it on Toutai because he's a massive ball hog in the two games he's played so far. He's inside French so he'll limit the opportunities French will get.
Otherwise I'd go Copley for some solid tackling numbers and a bit of attack

I like Surgess as VC...he'll either get another 70+ or a 20 as his shoulder flares up again
As captain though I'm going for someone consistent rather than SJ's unpredictability - depends where you are on the overall ladder or, if you're only doing HtH, what your opposition is like.
I'm doing Mannering in mine as he's fairly stable in scoring so I know what to expect (Was going to do JBrom but just decided against it)...if you want to throw the dice though do SJ as he could get a 90 or a 30 (also with his injury last week I'm a bit more nervous in how long he'll stay on the field...if they're thrashing they may bring him off to look after him)

If I downgrade Ava'au to Talakai it leaves me enough to upgrade Tolman to JDB/James.
My question is should I do that or hold Tolman until his last bye?

Friend (c)
Surgess (vc)
Harris, Taupau
A.Taylor
Talakai, Gutherson, (Aitken)
Munster, Radradra, French (Mitchell)
40% of my team is playing tonight
Off to Bendigo for the weekend straight from work and I am pretty sure I will arrive just in time for kick-off.
Going with an AFL fan and three chicks so they might not be too happy with me if I throw the NRL on as soon as we arrive. Whoops. Too bad. They knew who I was when we made these plans!

i'm going to use loop hole on munster and captain JTurbo. SJ is probably the better loop hole option.
Captain JBrom if you want to set and forget i reckon. Big Dragons pack should mean lots of tackling for the big fella plus his fun attacking stats

Remembered that SJ averaged higher at home last year and had a look quickly, he averages slightly higher at home this year as well.
Only scored in the 30's once, every other time at Mt Smart has been 50+ including 2x 60s and he also scored 70 at Westpac in Wellington, assume that we can realistically count that as a home game.

So Tom Turbo must be close to DPP Centre now?
Averaging a tad under 47 over past 3 games (though 2 tries)
*edited: The things I would do to Bellamy if he named Harris in the centres this week but moved him back to 2nd row at start of game...

I had completely forgotten about the Harris potential DPP.
Would make the decision a lot easier on who to bring into the centres if/when Holland makes way for BMoz.

I can cobble together 18 at this stage; it's my best bye round numbers wise. Welome to the forum mate, and welcome Garbo and KiwiWarriors

I've got 17 + Cullen.
Could have 18 depending on who I replace Holland with.
