Looking at BLaw for KEvans (only if named at Lock again) and purely for bye planning.  Grant has to go but not sure for who for yet.  If there is reasonable chat of Holland losing his spot due to Borris back then I will probably cash out Holland for a nuffie.  My head hurts from this round and have just now realised it's going to hurt even more working round the next 4 weeks.

How do you trade out a bloke who just scored 61 based on some chatter?

    Tough call.

Because he scores a ZERO (0) in Round 16 if not named. I have too much depth due to bye planning and not enough guns for the run home. Holland has averaged well as a centre but if Borris is fit I can't see who else gets dropped.

What's this *if* Mitchell plays stuff? Is he in doubt? Will have 13 if he plays.

    My team will be
    Parcell
    Bromwich, Surgess
    Mannering, JTrbo
    SJ, Norman
    Lolohea, Aitken
    Munster, Mitchell, Gutherson

Plus whichever one of JWH or SST I bring in for Bateman.

For me that's at longer odds than Holland getting a Round 16 and onwards start at this stage-the bloke has gone 2 months without scoring a try.

My issue is I have good depth, but I have to start thinning that out for the run home. I have been trying to fuck Carter off but that won't be till Round 18 now. I wouldn't trade Holland if I knew he was deadset playing the season out.

My thoughts are the same. It may seem crazy to trade out a guy after he scores 60+, but the fact is I already have 3 x $300k+ centres, as well as Aitken in my WFB. I need to get rid of one of them as my team is weak elsewhere. And I don't have the trades left to gamble on keeping a guy who may lose his spot, over the 2 other guys (Leilua and Kata) who are much more guaranteed to keep their position.

I'm sure the keep vs trade argument for Holland is different depending on everyone's individual requirements for their team, so arguing about it is pretty pointless.

Yep, it's individual team make ups. Would love to keep a Centre averaging over 40, but I can cover him and his cash out dollars can give me someone in my FRF where I am weak, like Bromwich who is going to average 55 and NOT be under the treat of being dropped.

Thought this might happen.  His name was thrown around a fair bit pre season and he played Nines (or trials maybe?).  Eden has officially signed with Cas as well so may not play again this year?  I use the word "play" loosely as the bloke contributes about as much as a spectator.

less than a spectator really, at least the spectator can't trouble the error stat.

    Boo to Graham downgrading.
And boo to De Belin with only a 1 point downgrade. I was hoping for more. He scored better than 3 out of 4 of my 2RFs in his stint off the bench. Need to get him back in ASAP.

Oh, and I missed Fifita's downgrade too. That's a net zero points in updates from those 2 games for me Sad

I posted a few random player scores, but without the fancy picture with all player scores. I don't have a screen that can see the app that is big enough for me to do that.

Haha early birds catch the worm folks.

Alright so a few questions, mainly does Cleary have the potential to be a keeper??
Also thinking if using two trades to bulk up this bye round and beyond.

Fensom and Grant are out with JWH and Bromwich in. Thoughts on those?

I've got 10 trades left and 8 players next week. I wonder if these trades are worth making to take my tally of players up to 10 or if perhaps one or both of them are better left off not being made.

Asiata to Rory O'Brien. Frees up a tiny bit of cash and get someone who will play in 2 remaining bye rounds. Feels like a real waste though, O'Brien's spot ain't assured and it's using up a trade for like what 40 points potentially?

C Scott to Hurrell. I'd consider doing this one purely on the basis that Hurrell could get back to some decent form and start making some cash. Making just this trade though would leave me with only 3k in the bank so can I trust the Hurrellicane?

Cleary hard to say after two rounds. He looks the goods, but Soward could come back and read somewhere that TMM could be back in a month, when I thought he was gone for season. But even if he's not a keeper he looks like making enough to be an easy single trade to JT for the run-in. He has a BE of minus 28!

I like your trades. Bromwich a gun keeper. JWH less so, but I'm bringing him in for Bateman this week ahead of SST because - even though he'll probably score a bit less - the extra 70k will allow me to make my other upgrades without wasting trades fiddling around. Extra body for Rnds 15,18,19 and then would be a 19th man to cover short-term injuries/suspensions in the forwards. I'm not *completely* sold on him, but it's probably what I'd do.

    Cheers buddy.

    Team after trades would be

    Smith, Parcell
    Graham, Bromwich, Tolman, JWH
Whitehead, Surgess, Thompson, Mannering, Taylor, Cartwright
    Milf, Cleary, Barba, JLJ
    Holland, Lolohea, Gutherson, Scott
    Munster, Semi, Aitken, Mitchell, Feeney

After reading that it looks like a reserve headache lol
