If he starts, that's close to the score you'd want from him.

If you don't think he can make it to 40, there's probably not much point wasting a trade to bring him in.

Worst position at the moment.  Budget?

Sorry, here is the problem. I only have $25K Plus I want to trade PatMata. So 237k odd at this stage. I was thinking either Walker or Hurrell (Which as others are advising, I would rather wait and see how they go).

So I am having to run Dennis this round, which I would prefer not too. But any trade would be a temporary fix.

Bateman and Gutherson are the only two that I could use to cash out to upgrade a centre. Both have massive upsides so I am reluctant to do it. I think I may just run with Dennis for now, and accept a shit score.

Trades are a premium for me as I only have 14 left after a horrible injury run.

I think I just talked myself into holding, thanks for the help SI lol

Hasn't been very impressive in NSW Cup so may take some time to get back info form, and first grade fitness

I'm pretty deadset on brining in Tolman for Fensom. Seems like a POD and seems to be gathering momentum. I'm mainly going Tolman so I can just use the one trade, due to lack of funds and happy to have him as a keeper, plus I needed to move Surgess down for DPP purposes.

    Thoughts? Or do I use a second trade, downgrade Bhana to Asiata or someone and get Bromwich instead? After the one trade to Tolman I have 17 trades and only 4K in the bank. Team would look like;

    Smith (Parcell)
    Fifita Tolman (Ese, Leulani)
Surgess ET Lowe (Carty Bhana Benry)
    SJ Milf (Lolohea Feeny)
    Claw BJ (Holland Aitken)
    Mitchell Radradra Munster (Barba Guth)

Would have 17 if Smith plays. If Ese and Bhana drop out, I can loophole. VC on BJ or maybe Surgess and C on Fifita.

Food for thought for HLF/HOK ?

This weeks news suggests that Seggi is no longer a 1st grade player for the Panthers which also suggests Peter Wallace could have decent job security for starting hooker (correct me if wrong?)

Quick look at the numbers for Wallace when named as starting hooker. His average over this period is a decent but not outstanding 42.16 per game, including a low of 23. Tackles being his fantasy bread and butter.

    PTS TKS RESULT
    RND 3 - 47 - 42 (Pen-23 / BRI 22)
    RND 4 - 33 - 38 (SGI 14 / PEN 12)
    RND 5 - 51 - 30 (PAR 18 / PEN 20)
    RND 6 - 61 - 51 (Pen 18 / NQL 23)
    RND 7 - 23 - 27 (SYD 16 / PEN 20)
    RND 8 - 38 - 32 (CRO 20 / PEN 18 - Martin injured in this game, assuming moved to half ?)

Numbers look ok for the most part apart from RND 4 and 7. Round 7 is scary, does anyone know if he was actually playing as a half in that game ? Stats centre shows he played the full 80.

If he was constantly between 40-50 then I believe he wouldn't be a bad round 16 pickup if you were looking to cashout Parcel or tired of Mbye missing tackles and couldn't afford to bring in BHunt.

    Thoughts ?

I think trading Fensom out is OK. Even if he plays it does seem clear to me that his best scoring days are over.

As for Tolman - he's a good scorer, but don't mistake him getting a try last week for 'gathering momentum'
There might be some better options available

Gallen's going to be an option from round 19. This is his last year, right? And the Sharks are actually going to compete for glory, which might mean he'll miraculously stay injury-free. For now though, missing the two big byes and probably getting reduced minutes/scores in post-origin weeks makes him no-go.

Yeah, I know about that try, played big minutes though. I don't know, just trying to find someone at Fensoms price so I don't have to burn a second trade. I'd rather keep the second trade for the next bye round.

Sharks play Monday against the Dogs. I don't see Gallen or Fifita's workload changing to what they normally produce.

Loophole SJ and Surgess C in Perth. I think I prefer Surgess over Graham. Same base better upside

Talk of Smith backing up, of course he will, he's Cam Smith.

The chartered accountants association have had a board meeting and said he will play.

Reversed my Parcell - Friend trade. Decided it can wait another week. $479k in the bank so will look to upgrade 3 players in the next few rounds

Probably a smart play given their BE's this week. Doubt you would lose too much points by not having Friend either.

I have red dots on Cam, Hughes, Bowen and Hastings. Expecting (hoping) two or three to shift to green before the week is over.

Would be awesome if Hughes played again. And Stu I reckon good idea reversing that trade, Friend with a 90 b/e
