Old mate leaving the forum over it. Gees, precious much...wonder what he is like in real life.

In afl supercoach everyone loopholes every week. Its not cheating its just another element of the game.

Exactly. And instead of doing something ridiculous like getting rid of the VC/locking captains in etc they've embraced it. If anything it levels the playing field because more people ("casual" players in particular) are going to know about and understand it now as opposed to just the "elite" few farao

P53 party. It was everything you'd hope for and more.
Old mate has apparently left the forum after all the loophole discussion.
Welshy continues to disturb with his Friz fetish. He and KFP have a 1 week avatar bet around who scores better this week, Whitehead or Friz.
Uh, other than that just a few fantasy questions.

Well see, the thing is... I uh... I've kind of forgotten his user name Embarassed
It was the guy who was upset that the forum was so openly discussing and encouraging the use of the 'loophole' because he viewed it as cheating. Happened earlier in the week IIRC and I didn't really witness a 'meltdown' though perhaps one may have happened outside my hours if it led to him leaving. This is where someone else takes over the story...

    Tbag call ?

Sir Winfield Tinfield or similar, i thought his stance was fine, but i genuinely dont understand leaving a forum over it. I dont believe it, id be pretty suspicious any new user was him.
We didnt even get the benefit of a meltdown, just a few jabs and then the white towel came out.

I think ive decided @wolfking, im bringing Bhunt in, based on two trades. May cash out on a third 3 minutes before a lockout also, we will see.

How do you even delete your account anyway? Surely it must be more then a single click like to make a post so he must of thought it through. Seems strange but.

He probably took the loophole option to make it happen.

Man, it's a fucking mess in here this morning. Page 53 party? Nice work.

Part of me wishes I'd stayed up until 2am NZ time to be there - but then I remembered this is a fantasy league forum, I have a big meeting at work today and maybe my partying days are over.......

......only maybe - will look out for the next one.

So I understand his reasoning re the loophole. I dont like the fact it works and have even emailed Fanhub about it and a way to prevent it all for no response.

The simple fact is Fanhub dont discourage it and unless you want to put yourself at a disadvantage against every other competitive player you should be doing it.

I dont necessarily think its a reason to leave the forum though. But each his own I guess. He was a pretty good poster though.

I would hazard a guess that he might still read the forums. Like watching criminals from a distance, you are not involved in their goings on but can see and hear every thing they are doing.

I slept through it, but like mentioned earlier, we might have dodged a bullet. Let's just wait till it dies down and see what comes out in the next few days. It only takes 1 photo or text message and BLAM one or more posters are embroiled in a scandal.

In regards Winfield, he was a great poster.  Hopefully he comes back, whether as him or another poster.  It's obvious everyone valued his input, even though he's copping a bit of stick now post mortem-that's only to be expected.

EDIT: fixed mistakes, time clean the biccie crumbs out of the key board again.
